Liverpool
6ft5 defender who scored a “magic” solo goal is wanted by Liverpool.

According to rumours, Liverpool is still keen to sign one of the best centre-back prospects available.
They’re not alone, though, in their desire for Dean Huijsen. According to Football Insider, Liverpool is still vying for Dean Huijsen.
Aston Villa also agrees with them, considering him to be “one for the future.” You would be shocked if they didn’t, though, at 19.
Huijsen and Liverpool have been connected many times before. The centre back, who played frequently in the second half of the season after joining AS Roma on loan from Juventus in January, has had an interesting season.
Among them was an incredible goal that was called “magic” on the Serie A YouTube account. After Huijsen took up the ball on the halfway line, he broke through the middle of Frosinone and outran a pressing forward. He dribbled past another defender and curled it into the far corner after carrying it all the way to the edge of the box.
It’s also important to remember that Huijsen was jeered by them every time he touched the ball because he turned down an offer from Frosinone. Tensions were so great that he was substituted off at halftime because he was booked for his celebrations.
To put it another way, flawless football.
Liverpool and Dean Huijsen
With Joel Matip’s departure, Liverpool does have room in their roster for a centre-back, but it could be argued that Jarell Quansah already did so a long time ago. In that scenario, it’s difficult to see how the Reds could provide Huijsen with the first-team experience he would desire.
Given that he has a contract with Juventus through 2028, they are also unlikely to let him go cheap. Therefore, even for a player as good as he is, Liverpool wouldn’t necessarily need to pay that much money for him.
This one just doesn’t stack up for this summer, so we’re not sure if it will happen. While we wouldn’t completely rule it out, we’d prefer to see more from Quansah than Huijsen.

Liverpool is getting ready to spend €65 million for a long term Mohamed Salah replacement
Liverpool will not lose Mohamed Salah this summer, but the team is still preparing for life without him.
The Egyptian’s future at the team is still unknown as he approaches the penultimate year of his contract at Anfield and has been linked to moves away from the team during that time.
Under previous boss Jurgen Klopp, the right-winger has contributed to the Reds’ victories in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Given the uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at Liverpool, the Reds are planning to sign a replacement.
The Japanese newspaper Sports Nippon claims that Liverpool may be considering Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo, a right winger.
Kubo has been connected to a move to Liverpool since January.
Despite rumours that he would be Jurgen Klopp’s last addition to the Reds, the Japanese international continued to play well for the La Liga outfit.
Since joining Real Sociedad in 2022 from Real Madrid, Kubo has demonstrated enormous potential.
At the age of 23, he has already made a name for himself as one of La Liga’s best players.
Liverpool is pursuing the Japanese international and intends to pay a transfer fee of approximately €65 million for him.
They are also willing to give the 23-year-old £240,000 a week in salary. It is evident that the Reds are getting ready to play without Salah, who may depart the team in the summer of 2019.
Mo Salah will be hard for Liverpool to replace
Similar to Salah, Kubo is a left-footed right-winger who enjoys cutting inside to create chances and score goals.
Kubo has shown promise in La Liga, but he will need to increase his goal total to take Salah’s place.
Salah’s twenty-four goals for the Reds dwarf the seven goals the Sociedad winger scored in the previous campaign.
