Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp has been given the green light for a move as the club are also set to play for a highly sought-after midfielder.
Liverpool are shaping their new transfer dynamic in no time. Alexis Mac Allister’s deal was the last to be signed under the old structure, with Julian Ward playing a key role before he left the club, but Jörg Schmadtke is now firmly in place for him.
A short-term first date, it will be interesting to see what reach he gets and whether Liverpool see him primarily as a negotiator. It would certainly make sense for Jürgen Klopp to see his voice in proceedings increase during this period. In fact, one of today’s stories suggests FSG have agreed to a transfer plan straight from Klopp and Liverpool are now ready to pique their interest.
Meanwhile, another ‘concrete offer’ is believed to be in place as Liverpool look to build on their positive momentum following the arrival of Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion. Even since this agreement was agreed, the midfield remains the priority and it is in this area that changes seem to be on the horizon.
Here’s Liverpool.com’s verdict on the transfer gossip swirling around the Reds today
Gabrielle Veiga (Celta Vigo)

There are still a few new names, but a core midfielder has been mentioned in connection with Liverpool for several weeks. Gabri Veiga undoubtedly falls into this category. With an affordable release clause, the young midfielder ticks a number of important boxes, which is why Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid are also all on the lookout.
But according to Rudy Galetti of Give Me Sport, it is Liverpool who have a “concrete offer” ready. He is quick to act quickly due to the size of the competition, believing “the race for Veiga will be won by the fastest club”.
Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern Munich)

If a potentially undervalued release clause for a young talent screams ‘FSG’, another possible move appears to have Klopp’s fingerprints on it.
The Liverpool manager is keen to sack the Bundesliga for Ryan Gravenberch, who played a support role for Bayern Munich last season as they retained their title. And according to the Mirror, the club are ready to support Klopp’s wishes.
The player himself is also open to train. Bayern Munich’s position could still prove to be an obstacle, although Bayern have recently completed the transfer of Konrad Laimer.
