Fabrizio Romano has claimed Chelsea have now agreed personal terms with Moises Caicedo ahead of a potential transfer
During a Q&A on The Residency, he explained that negotiations between the two clubs are about to begin.
Chelsea have targeted Caicedo as their number one target to strengthen their position in midfield ahead of next season.
While everyone at the club has been hugely pleased with the world champion’s performance, there is awareness that a shroud deal this summer could mean there could be even more to be gained from him.
It was originally thought that Manuel Ugarte would be the best character for this, but PSG thwarted their efforts to bring him in. Chelsea agree personal arrangements with Caicedo
However, negotiations with Brighton are now starting. It is well known that this is not an easy task in football.

Romano says this phase of the process to bring in the £80m man is ready to start.
He said: “Chelsea have an agreement with Caicedo, now Chelsea and Brighton are negotiating.”
The Seagulls can cite their personal interest in signing Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill as the reason they will play tough with the Blues.
Recently qualified for Europe, the top player is set to break his own transfer record to land the Englishman on a permanent basis after an impressive loan spell last season.
However, Chelsea have so far insisted the player is not for sale and new manager Mauricio Pochettino has already made it clear he is a big fan of the youngster.
