Mount replacement

Once Manchester United has completed the transfer of Mason Mount, Chelsea appears prepared to make an approach for Gabri Veiga. Due to his uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford lately.

Once Veiga’s transfer to Old Trafford is complete, the Blues are anticipated to approach him, according to the Evening Standard. According to the report, Chelsea’s initial strategy was to sign just one defensive midfielder, either Moises Caicedo or Manuel Ugarte, who ultimately signed with Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Veiga has been taken into consideration after so many midfielders have left, and his £34.6million release clause is reportedly an ‘attractive option.

Mbappe message

To give himself a chance to prove himself in the Premier League, Kylian Mbappe has been advised to wait for a move to Chelsea. With his contract at Paris Saint-Germain set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, the 24-year-old forward’s future at the club is becoming more and more uncertain.

Mbappe confirmed last month that he would not stay in the French capital past 2024, which raised serious concerns about his future before the summer transfer window. L’Equipe claims that PSG is considering selling the France international rather than risk losing him for free in a year because they are upset with the way the player’s public announcement was handled.

Florent Malouda, in an interview with Genting Casino, stated: “I think he will give the Premier League a try, but as of now, I can’t think of any team other than Manchester City that would draw him in. The time is not right for him to join the Premier League. Before he thinks about moving to England, he should wait for Chelsea to return to the top flight (laughs).

Chelsea’s efforts to sell Hakim Ziyech have taken yet another significant hit.
After falling out of favor under a number of managers, the 30-year-old winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for some time.

In Saudi Arabia, he appeared prepared to travel with Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante. But an £8 million transfer to Al-Nassr has reportedly fallen through, according to the Evening Standard.

According to the report, Ziyech was unable to reach an agreement on the final terms of a three-contract. As of right now, it’s uncertain whether the Saudi Arabian organization will reconsider a move for the Moroccan after he also failed a medical.

Expert Don Hutchinson has claimed he believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek made the right decision to leave Chelsea.

Taking to Twitter, he welcomed the England international opting for a move abroad to maximize his potential.

It has been claimed that Loftus-Cheek has already undergone a medical examination ahead of a possible move to AC Milan in the coming days.

The move sees the Blues part ways with another academy graduate who has been associated with the club for more than half his life.

Although he also featured regularly as a central midfielder, he was used as a substitute for Reece James when the latter was injured.

Loftus-Cheek’s ability to carry on was seen as the best possible replacement for the 23-year-old, although captain Cesar Azpilicueta was also available.
Hutchinson was impressed with Loftus-Cheek

However, last season was expected to be the club’s last with them having to sell to raise money for this summer.
Hutchinson has now said he believes it will be a big move for the England national team.

He said, “Good for him. He could have stayed in his comfort zone and stayed in the prem. Very jealous of the boys who are now going to Serie A.

“Great move on his part. Now out of his comfort zone. Huge club, new language, new city, etc.”

The player is one of several players whose departure from Stamford Bridge has already been announced.
Yesterday saw an official report that Kai Havertz had completed his big money transfer across the capital to Arsenal.
