Chelsea transfer news: The Blues are planning a move for Flamengo wonderkid Matheus Franca to continue their plan to sign and develop young talent

Chelsea are considering signing another Brazilian wonderkid after winning the race for Santos star Angelo Gabriel. The Blues made a €15m (£13m) offer and saw the Brazilian accept it, despite his contract including a £38m release clause.

Mauricio Pochettino has already overseen the arrival of six new players but only Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson will have an immediate impact on the first team’s image.
