Elsewhere, there was much discussion about Cheick Doucoure’s future at Crystal Palace after the midfielder was dropped from the Eagles squad following their Carabao Cup win at Plymouth Argyle.
We will also get the latest news on Mohamed Salah’s future.
Steve McManaman makes Mohamed Salah claim
Steve McManaman has admitted Mohamed Salah could leave next summer.
Speaking to Betfred, he said: “He may want to move now but I have no idea if I’m going to be completely honest.
“The timing of this move is so wrong that it will never happen in this period. I don’t think it’s about the money because it’s too late and because Liverpool have had Mo Salah for a while to lose.” 100-200 million pounds are impossible to contemplate.
“If it happened in June, maybe. Next June? Possible. Probably. However, with just days to go, there is no chance of that happening as Jürgen Klopp will not allow it.
“The transfer could happen next season because he’s 32 and if the numbers shown stay the same then obviously it’s something both Liverpool and Mo will be looking at. “Of course, if the money is right, it will benefit the player and the club. If Mo asks to leave next summer, I’m sure Liverpool will consider him. It’s like when Real Madrid let Casemiro go because the money was “Many. When a player has been at your club for that long and he’s been a superstar for you, you won’t deny him a transfer.”
Cheick Doucoure left the Crystal Palace squad when Liverpool made a contract offer
Cheick Doucoure was left out of Crystal Palace’s squad for their Carabao Cup second round clash against Plymouth Argyle yesterday.
The Malian midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool during the summer transfer window and is believed to value the 23-year-old at £70m. Whether or not the Reds will join their roster before Friday’s transfer deadline remains to be seen. Many are still concerned. Jurgen Klopp is still missing a defensive midfielder and central defender, having signed three players so far since the beginning of June. .
Reports from France, particularly Sports Zone, suggested yesterday that the Reds had sent a contract offer to Doucoure in the hope of signing him.
PSV Eindhoven are willing to accept 25 million pounds for Bakayoko.
PSV Eindhoven are reportedly willing to accept a transfer fee of around £25 million for Liverpool-linked Johan Bakayoko.
Football Insider reports it.
The Reds have questioned potential candidates for the Belgian talent, although it had previously been suggested that the 20-year-old would be seen as a Mohamed Salah.
Burnley are reported to have already turned down two offers for the winger.
PSV, it is said, want to keep the striker until the end of the Champions League. They face Rangers in the second leg tonight.

Liverpool are eyeing Joao Felix as a replacement for Mohamed Salah
As rumors continue surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future, it appears Liverpool are already weighing their options, with Joao Felix emerging as a potential replacement for the potentially departing Egyptian.
This was reported by FootballTransfers via ECHO, according to which Liverpool are drawing up contingency plans. However, Salah has been integral to Liverpool’s success, making the very idea of his departure hotly debated among fans and pundits.
Speaking of Joao Felix, he is a player who resonates with football fans and followers of the game. The young striker caught the attention of the football world very early in his career, and disagreements with Atletico coach Diego Simeone saw the 23-year-old miss out on his playing time. Most recently, he was loaned out to Chelsea for half of last season, having signed for them in January earlier this year.
Rumors also link the Portuguese talent to a move to Barcelona, where coach Xavi has given his green light for a possible transfer from Atletico Madrid. This interest underlines the recognition of Felix’s abilities and his appeal at top clubs.
Felix to the Reds?
The prospect of Felix wearing a Liverpool shirt has raised many questions among fans. Will he be able to put himself in Salah’s shoes and fill the void left by the Egyptian’s departure? While comparisons are inevitable, it’s essential to recognize that each player brings their own unique characteristics and style of play to the field.
Liverpool’s attacking prowess has been the cornerstone of their success in recent years, with Salah playing a central role in that story. His goals, talent and ability to make the difference at crucial moments have endeared him to Anfield loyalists. If Felix arrives, he would carry the weight of so many expectations upon himself. Whether it’s Salah remaining a cornerstone of Liverpool’s attack or the emergence of a new star in Joao Felix, the ultimate aim is to strengthen the squad and propel them to greater achievements.
The speculations on the transfers are manifold. They require meticulous planning, negotiation and a thorough understanding of the dynamics involved. The football landscape is full of twists and turns, making it crucial for fans to approach such messages from a balanced perspective.
