One of Liverpool’s top summer targets for next year is made public

The ideal young forward has been identified by Liverpool, who want to bolster their lineup for next summer.

Over the past 12 months, Jurgen Klopp’s team has achieved an amazing rebuild by investing in youth and offloading experienced players.

The club lost Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Roberto Firmino in the summer as they moved to Saudi Arabia.

After Wataru Endo, Dominic Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alexis Mac Allister joined the team last summer, the midfield in particular received the most attention.

The Reds have been connected to a number of possible replacements as a result of reports that Mo Salah may eventually depart for Saudi Arabia.

Johan Bakayoko is one of Klopp’s top priorities for his team to sign next year, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The PSV winger made an impression in the previous season and was on the verge of joining Brentford in the summer, but he turned it down to remain in the Eredivisie.

Bakayoko, who is only 20 years old, would be a great fit for this young Liverpool team and would be a true steal at an estimated £20 million.

The Merseyside team may make a move for a midfielder or defender as early as the January transfer window, according to rumours.

Liverpool has been informed that a £87 million winger could succeed Mohamed Salah.

Pundit Stephen Warnock has named “the only player” who could potentially replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Speculation is rife over Salah’s future at Anfield following strong interest from the Saudi Pro League over the summer.

Al Ittihad ultimately saw a bid of around £150m rejected by Liverpool.
And when Darren Bent asked on TalkSPORT whether he would sell the Egyptian for that kind of fee in the near future, former Red Warnock said there should be someone lined up to replace Salah – and that he would offer the man who he thinks he can do it.

“I wouldn’t sell him this season, maybe next, but you have to have someone on the pitch,” began the expert.
“The only player that comes to mind is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.

“He’s the only player you look at and think ‘young, potential, he can play’, but he’s a left wing player, could he play on the right?

“[Dominik] Szoboszlai, he played there in Leipzig, will he play higher if he goes? The scouting network won’t be active now, right, knowing that Salah is getting closer to that point.”

Liverpool advised to go for Kvara

Last year at this time not many people were aware of the magical quality of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

But fast forward 12 months and he could face any team in the world.
He may have faded towards the end of the season, but he was still a key factor in Napoli’s first Scudetto win in 33 years.

Twelve goals and ten assists in Serie A have everyone talking about “Kvaradona”, and Europe’s traditional elite are all connected, including Liverpool.

So far, Napoli are determined to keep the 22-year-old.
There was talk of a figure of 87 million pounds needed to remove him from southern Italy.
However, if Liverpool were to sell Salah, raising that kind of money wouldn’t be a big deal.
If the Reds’ recruitment team – like Warnock – believed Kvaratskhelia was the right man to replace Mo, they would certainly be happy to pay.

Traditionally, however, Liverpool have not always chosen the most obvious option.
And even if, as Warnock says, the Georgian is more of a left-footed player than a right-handed one, he would still be a fairly obvious and successful signing.

If the Reds are convinced, it would be no surprise if they chose Kvara as Salah’s potential successor. But we think a more natural replacement in the form of Pedro Neto might be a better bet for now.
