Though Paul Merson has been praising the rookie defender Conor Bradley of Liverpool, he feels the Reds should rest him sooner rather than later.

Bradley has been playing some amazing football lately, and he finished the week against Chelsea with two assists and a goal.

Arsenal and Liverpool are playing this weekend. Bradley will probably have his toughest test of the season against Gabriel Jesus or Gabriel Martinelli in that match.

Bradley has performed admirably, but Sky Sports analyst Paul Merson has advised Liverpool to exercise caution when deciding whether to rest the young player.

Speaking about the Liverpool young player on Sky’s Soccer Saturday programme, Merson advised the Reds not to use Bradley excessively.

“He seems like a skilled player. Just finding the ideal moment to give him a break inside the squad is the challenge. He’s performed admirably, but the Premier League demands a much higher level of focus than League One did. However, I’ve enjoyed seeing him play. His passing and intelligence are somewhat lacking; he plays like a 26-or 27-year-old. But tomorrow is a tougher matchup with Martinelli. When it’s only 45 minutes too long, the only question is how long it will be. It’s difficult given the games he’s participated in and Trent’s impending arrival as one of the greatest in the field, Merson added.

Bradley will be taken care of by Liverpool.
There shouldn’t be any chance that Conor Bradley experiences burnout or anything like for the next few months, as long as Jurgen Klopp remains in charge.

The youthful right-back is already incredibly talented and mature in his own right, so he should be well-served by Klopp and his Liverpool colleagues.

Perhaps tomorrow is a bit of a mental stretch. It’s difficult to believe Klopp would bench Alexander-Arnold for one of the most important games of the season since Arsenal is a very different beast.

But Conor Bradley has earned a spot in the manager’s lineup, and he will undoubtedly contribute to Liverpool between now and the end of the campaign.

Liverpool turns down surprise Deadline Day transfer offer from Premier League club

Caoimhin Kelleher

The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool has turned down an offer for keeper Caoimhin Kelleher from Nottingham Forest.

The 25-year-old was valued at well than £20 million by The Reds, but Forest only offered £15 million for him.

Even though Alisson plays at a world-class level and he is merely Anfield’s second choice, he has recently been granted some opportunities.

He has made 34 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team overall, and he has often impressed.

Liverpool’s refusal to sell him is not surprising, especially considering there is still time in the transfer window to find a suitable successor.

The Reds are also rumoured to have based their asking price on Manchester City’s £19 million transfer of James Trafford to Burnley.

Former Arsenal striker wanted by Forest

According to Fabrizio Romano, Forest is attempting to investigate a late-transfer window move for former Arsenal star Chuba Akpom.

On deadline day, the Reds are seeking to strengthen their attack, and they are giving the Ajax player significant consideration.

This season, Akpom has made 20 appearances across all competitions and scored nine goals, attracting the interest of other Premier League teams.

Though it’s thought that Ajax won’t easily allow Akpom to go, they might be tempted with a big offer.

Although Fulham has also been connected to Akpom, it seems that Armando Broja of Chelsea is now the target
