Amidst rumours of his departure, Liverpool has set a price for the 27-year-old first team standout.

Luis Diaz, a winger for Liverpool, has been mentioned as potentially leaving the team at the end of the current campaign.
The Colombian international has been linked to a summer sale, and according to a report via Fichajes, Liverpool has now established a price for the 27-year-old winger.
This season, the 27-year-old has been in outstanding form for Liverpool, tallying 10 goals and providing five assists in all competitions. His deal with the Premier League team expires in the summer of 2027, and Liverpool will only allow him to leave if they get an offer of about €140 million.
In the upcoming months, it will be intriguing to see if any club is willing to part with that much cash for the Colombian.
Apart from Mohamed Salah, Diaz is the only natural winger on the team and is a vital asset for Liverpool at the moment. The Reds won’t want to lose more than one important player in a single transfer window, particularly because they are losing Jurgen Klopp. The Egyptian has also been linked to a departure from Liverpool.
It is quite doubtful that Diaz will be able to finalise his departure from the team in the summer if Liverpool does not lower their asking price. It is reasonable to presume that the gamer may also not actively seek an exit. He appears to be settling in well at the team, and Liverpool is actively vying for significant championships. The 27-year-old has no justification for leaving a competitive team.

Next Liverpool manager: A senior insider reveals a significant turn in the Xabi Alonso chase
As he continues to lead Bayer Leverkusen to unprecedented heights, Xabi Alonso, the manager target for Liverpool, is content and settled in Germany, sources have told Football Insider.
The 42-year-old Alonso has been the Merseysiders’ top target ever since Jurgen Klopp declared his intention to leave Anfield in January.
On January 28, Football Insider disclosed that the manager of Leverkusen is the “number one choice” to replace the renowned German in the Liverpool managerial position.
Football Insider has learned, though, from a reliable source that Alonso and his family have made Germany their permanent home.
He may even captain Leverkusen in the Champions League during the 2024–2025 season, if he is content where he is at.
With Alonso “settled” in Germany, the competition to manage Liverpool has taken a dramatic turn.
Liverpool is researching a number of prospects and is still hopeful that they will be able to sign their former midfield player this summer.
Alonso was appointed in October 2022, and his current contract with Leverkusen is scheduled to expire in June 2026.
On January 27, Football Insider disclosed that he has a clause in his contract that permits him to join any of his previous teams, including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Real Sociedad.
His Leverkusen team is currently eight points ahead in the Bundesliga and is headed for a historic treble this season.
Alonso played with Liverpool for five years, winning the FA Cup and Champions League in that time. He made 210 games.
However, he’s made his home in Germany, where he played for the last three years of his career.
With 12 top-flight games remaining this season, Liverpool is currently atop the Premier League after winning the League Cup on Sunday, February 25.
Throughout his last few months with the Reds, Klopp also has the chance to win the FA Cup and Europa League.
