Luis Diaz downplays the PSG transfer link and declares Liverpool’s future.

Since Kylian Mbappe is leaving for Spain, Luis Diaz has been linked to a summer transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, where the Ligue 1 winners plan to bolster their attack.

Star player Luis Diaz for Liverpool has downplayed rumours of leaving in the summer, stating that “great years are coming” for the Reds.

In January 2022, Diaz moved from Porto to join. Although he has a deal with Anfield that expires in 2027, there has been speculation of a move earlier, with Paris Saint-Germain being one of the interested parties.

Kylian Mbappe is heading to Real Madrid, therefore PSG may need a left-sided forward this summer. Bradley Barcola, a young player, has occasionally filled in down the left, but Mbappe’s exit may make room for a more seasoned player.

This season, Diaz has scored 13 goals across all competitions, including 8 in the Premier League. The Colombian player gets the opportunity to increase that total on Monday when Liverpool plays Aston Villa.

It appeared like the game might have an impact on the title chase a few weeks ago. However, Manchester City’s victory against Fulham on Saturday means that Klopp cannot win the championship in his final season as manager, which is unfortunate for the Reds. The manager acknowledged that his only regret for the season was not making more use of Harvey Elliott, Diaz’s teammate.
