After taking over for Jurgen Klopp as manager of Liverpool, Arne Slot has already begun working on Merseyside and plans to bring in a few new players to Anfield to start the Reds’ summer operations.

This summer, Liverpool has not made a single acquisition, but that may be about to change.

Arne Slot, the new Reds manager, has already begun work on Merseyside. Additionally, he wants to carry on Jurgen Klopp’s fantastic work with the team.

Greetings to some new members of the club are part of that. In the past, Klopp and his hiring team have made several brilliant hires.

Fortunately, a number of celebrities have been connected to Liverpool for summer transfers. Here are a few of the rumours that have surfaced from Anfield in the last 24 hours:

Liverpool declares Arroyo’s departure.

Anderson Arroyo, a forgotten defender who never appeared in a game for the team, has been sold by Liverpool. The Colombian moved to Fortaleza C.E.I.F. in 2018.

Nevertheless, after spending the previous season with the Spanish team, he has subsequently been sent on a number of loans and returns to Burgos.

“Anderson Arroyo has completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool to Burgos CF, subject to international clearance,” the Reds said in a statement. Six and a half years after joining the Reds from his native Fortaleza CEIF, the Colombian is leaving.

“Most of Arroyo’s time with the team was spent on loan, where he played for Real Mallorca, KAA Gent, FK Mlada Boleslav, Salamanca CF UDS, FC Andorra, and Burgos.”

Verified talks about Juventus stars

Prior to moving to Turin, Michele Di Gregorio, the new goalkeeper for Juventus, had discussions with Liverpool, according to his agent.

Carlo Belloni told TV Play, “There were talks with Liverpool and, obviously, we were very pleased to hear from them.” But after talking with [Cristiano] Giuntoli [Juventus sporting director], we were confident in the decision.

We stuck with Juve since that’s what he and Juve desired, and Thiago Motta thought of Di Gregorio’s name right away.

Since then, Di Gregorio has paid £15 million to join Juventus. He has been signed to maybe take Wojciech Szczęsny’s place, the former star of Arsenal.

The Van den Berg problem arises.

Van den Berg

Sepp van den Berg, a star for Liverpool, may have trouble landing a job this summer. The defender is being pursued by PSV.

However, the sum the Reds are seeking might be beyond their means. As reported by Voetbal Primeur and Eindhovens Dagblad, Liverpool is reportedly willing to pay about €20 million (£17 million) for Van den Berg.

Maybe PSV could afford him if they dropped their asking price to €15 million (£12.6 million). The 22-year-old’s Liverpool contract is still in effect for another two years.
