Liverpool faces an ultimatum from Trent Alexander-Arnold as Real Madrid considers a deal

The report goes on to explain how some have questioned whether or not the extraordinary midfield player may tip the scales in Real Madrid’s favour should the Liverpool star want a move next year due to Alexander-Arnold’s tight relationship with Jude Bellingham, his England colleague.

Some supporters may not find it insignificant, as it was reported approximately eighteen months ago that Alexander-Arnold and former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson attempted to persuade Bellingham, who was then with Borussia Dortmund, to join them at Anfield for the 2022 World Cup.

However, Bellingham has thrived since choosing to play with Los Blancos, and Real would be happy to sign another top-tier English player, like Alexander-Arnold, should the opportunity present itself.

Although Alexander-Arnold has never downplayed the appeal of playing for Real Madrid, he has never disguised the significance of representing Liverpool.
