Murillo

Many teams are keeping an eye on Nottingham Forest star Murillo as relegation becomes a genuine threat for the team. These teams include Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Forest received a four-point deduction on Monday for violating the sustainability, profit, and profitability guidelines set forth by the Premier League.

With just nine games remaining, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team is just one point below Luton Town in 17th place and in the relegation zone.

Even though Forest is probably going to appeal the punishment, they will still be trying to offload players in the summer to keep their finances in check.

Murillo, one of their most valuable assets, has made an impression since joining from Corinthians for £15 million last summer.

The centre back has started all league games and four of Forest’s five FA Cup matches since relocating to the City Ground.

The 21-year-old’s contract is set to expire in 2028, but how much Forest can get for him at that point may depend on their ability to keep themselves out of the Championship.

Nonetheless, there are plenty of Premier League teams and clubs throughout Europe that are interested in signing Murillo, according to the Daily Mail, so if he were to go up for sale, there would be no shortage of buyers.

In addition to PSG and Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle are “monitoring the defender’s progress.”

The Times claims that in order to avoid another violation of the regulations, Forest needs to make at least £30 million in profit from the sale of one of its key players this summer.

Another pair of names who might wind up on the transfer list are Taiwo Awoniyi, the striker, and Morgan Gibbs-White, the key midfielder.

Willian Pacho

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are still vying for the coveted crown as the 2023–24 Premier League season draws to a close, and they may face off during the summer transfer window.

Regardless matter the winner of the championship, Mikel Arteta and the person who succeeds Jurgen Klopp will almost definitely want to make a number of roster improvements.

Arsenal and Liverpool will compete for Willian Pacho.

Willian Pacho, a highly regarded centre back for Eintracht Frankfurt, is one player who seems to be attracting interest from both the Reds and the North Londoners.

Florian Plettenberg, a dependable football transfer analyst on Sky Sport Germany, claims that he has a contract that runs until 2028, but it appears that the Bundesliga team would be open to a deal at roughly €60 million.

Considering how successful Gabriel and William Saliba have been for the Gunners this season, one may anticipate that Pacho would not be first choice at Arsenal but would, at most, give some competition for spots.

A strong case can be made at Liverpool that he would fit in well with Virgil van Dijk in the Reds’ new back line.

Prior to attempting to outsmart one another in the transfer market, both teams have other matters to focus on for the time being.
