A “special” manager “like Ange Postecoglou” may be appointed by Liverpool as Michael Edwards’ plan takes shape.

An interim manager is being sought by Liverpool before to Jürgen Klopp’s departure this summer. Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, has been likened to one candidate.
Pedro Porro, a player at Tottenham, has likened Rúben Amorim to Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou. Over the past few years, the defender has played under both managers.
Given that Jürgen Klopp is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of the current campaign, Amorim is still the clear favourite to take over as manager. According to reports from Portugal, Amorim may be ready to depart Sporting CP, which would allow the Reds to move in.
The 39-year-old, however, has downplayed rumours that he has a contract with Liverpool and hinted that he might decide to remain in Lisbon. That being said, he remains the clear favourite to succeed Klopp.
And if he does wind up at Anfield, the Reds might be getting something akin to what Tottenham acquired the previous summer. Postecoglou, incidentally, has also been speculatively linked to the Liverpool position.
In an Expresso interview, Porro remarked, “He (Amorim) is young, has a lot of ambition, a little bit like Ange Postecoglou here at Tottenham.” “He is coveted by numerous European teams and is highly sought after by the world due to his unwavering desire for more.”
He plays eye to eye with every opponent and has a unique style of operation that is akin to what we do at Tottenham. Numerous parallels exist. Whether Sporting and Tottenham win 5-0 or lose, their style of play is well-known and identifiable.

Even though Amorim is the front-runner for the Liverpool position, Klopp’s successor is still up in the air. The ECHO reports that Liverpool is still in the screening phase of its manager hunt and has not ruled out appointing a “left-field appointment” should Michael Edwards feel they can usher in a new era of prosperity.
According to Liverpool.com, Postecoglou has performed well since joining Tottenham, and his fans find his style of play exciting. It would be interesting to watch him play with Amorim at Anfield. But Spurs are a flawed team, so maybe the Sporting manager has a somewhat improved version of what Postecoglou has to give.
Amorim ought to be the best choice at this point, even though Liverpool is still in the process of finding applicants for the position. Even though new players are starting to emerge, such as Arne Slot, the Sporting manager is currently in a superior position due to the work he has done over the last few years at such a young age.
