A superstar “better than Mohamed Salah” must be signed by Liverpool, breaking transfer record.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli who has been hailed “better than Mohamed Salah” by his father, has been strongly linked to Liverpool in recent months.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger from Georgia, is expected to cost Liverpool a record move in order to sign him this summer.
Arne Slot, the manager, has made it clear that a winger is his primary priority, particularly after negotiations to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle broke down. Even if Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, and Mohamed Salah are among the team’s talented players for at least another season, Slot’s team still needs an extra offensive weapon.
Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia is a notable name circulating in the gossip mill; his father is happy to say that he even eclipses the renowned Mo Salah. Kvaratskhelia senior shared his opinions with Calcio Napoli 24 in a chat:
“Salah is a fantastic football player who has accomplished amazing things with Liverpool and Egypt, so it’s a great comparison, but we prefer Khvicha.” He is regarded by many as the strongest. He is for me because I am the father, but I am proud when I hear that from other people.”
Given Kvaratskhelia’s outstanding performance in the Champions League last season, which saw Napoli win the title, the comparisons to Salah aren’t out of the question. Former Reds defender Markus Babbel was gushing about Kvaratskhelia as he spoke as part of bet365’s coverage of Euro 2024.
“Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a top and talented player, and it would be fantastic if he could come to Liverpool, especially with the way Liverpool like to play,” the man said. “I believe that would be fantastic for him.
He’s a cunning player who craves possession of the ball. He has the ability to hit teams while they are transitioning, and Liverpool seems to want to play in this manner.
“At just 23, he would be ideal in the Premier League, but I don’t think the president of Napoli will make things simple.” Even for PSG and Liverpool, the possible £150 million price tag if he were to depart would be prohibitive.”
According to The Echo, Liverpool and two other unidentified Premier League teams are interested in Kvaratskhelia, even though PSG’s £110 million proposal was turned down. Gordon was reportedly valued at £100 million by Newcastle, but if Liverpool wasn’t willing to pay that much, maybe a player like Kvaratskhelia could fetch a better price from them.
It’s obvious that a deal has been discussed, but it’s unclear if the team will be ready to pay such a high price for the 23-year-old.
