According to expert Liverpool midfielder target open to Reds transfer

Liverpool will be eyeing midfield alternatives following the defeat of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia at the hands of rivals Chelsea.
According to Ben Jacobs in the latest edition of his exclusive weekly column CaughtOffside, one option could be Ryan Gravenberch, who remains open to the prospect of a move to Anfield.
However, the question remains whether or not Bayern Munich will sell the Dutch international, so there are other names on Liverpool’s list as well.
Jacobs has mentioned ties to Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni, although he has clarified that he doesn’t see much substance in this, while Fluminense youngster Andre could be another option, although his current club would ideally keep him a little longer.
“Chelsea have signed Moises Caicedo for a £100+15m package from Brighton, achieving their key target of the summer,” Jacobs wrote on Substack. “It was an incredible saga. Liverpool tried to hijack the deal and managed to offer £111million, but Caicedo made it clear he wanted to wait for Chelsea, who reached an agreement over the weekend.
“Liverpool did everything they could but when a player has made his choice with a club it’s hard to change his mind. All summer there was a feeling that Chelsea would end up paying what was necessary after several offers for Caicedo were turned down.”
He added: “Chelsea are also close to signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton, another Liverpool target.
“So I expect Liverpool to be busy until the window closes. Real Madrid don’t want to sell Aurélien Tchouameni and the player doesn’t want to leave, so I don’t see too much substance in these links.
“André is another possibility at Fluminense but the Brazilian club have always hoped to keep him until 2024.
“Ryan Gravenberch is also a long-term target at Bayern Munich. The player is open to movement. It’s about whether Bayern sell.”
Gravenberch is certainly a tempting option and it’s fair to say he wouldn’t rule out leaving Bayern after a difficult period since joining from Ajax, where he was considered a true wonderkid.
The 21-year-old hasn’t been very regular at Bayern, but you can imagine he would certainly go straight into the Liverpool starting eleven to help them out with departing stars like Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain to replace. and James Milner.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp couldn’t help but dig in at Chelsea after the two sides drew 1-1 in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
After the entertaining encounter in west London, Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino revealed he was waiting for new signings to complete the squad – despite the club’s huge outlay over the past two transfer windows.
“It’s what every manager at Chelsea wants and usually gets it,” Klopp said.
The German also admitted there was ‘no news’ regarding Moises Caicedo’s transfer target as the Brighton midfielder is also wanted by Chelsea and is now believed to be close to a move to the Blues.
During the match itself, Klopp was happy with the result. “The start was pretty compelling,” he said. “We really looked like we hadn’t met in the parking lot!” Then we opened the door to Chelsea. We fought very hard, it was super intense for both teams. That’s a point for Chelsea…good.”
“In the second half with the crowd, we really had to dig deep and fight hard. In the end we got a point and that’s okay. I saw a lot of things I liked and some things I didn’t like. We are right and we continue to work.”
