Amid ongoing talk about Liverpool, Ruben Amorim promises something regarding Sporting CP’s future.

Ruben Amorim has once again avoided talking about his future at Sporting Lisbon despite persistent rumours that he would be moving to Liverpool.
After Sporting CP took a stride towards winning Liga Portugal, Ruben Amorim once again avoided answering questions about his future.
With four games remaining, Sporting defeated Vitoria de Guimaraes 3-0 on Sunday night to take a 10-point lead over second-place Benfica. However, Benfica does have a game in hand. As a result, Amorim’s team may win the championship with no more than six points from their remaining games.
Amorim is still strongly connected to a move to Anfield, even though Jurgen Klopp has announced that he would be leaving his position as manager of Liverpool in the summer. The Portuguese has taken the lead when former Reds player Xabi Alonso chose to remain at Bayer Leverkusen.
Sporting has secured a spot in the Taca de Portugal final for next month, so their attention is on winning the Portuguese double. Nevertheless, despite growing rumours, Amorim has not said anything about his future.
And on Sunday night, following Sporting’s most recent triumph, he said the same thing to reporters. “I am bound by a contract. Changing the paradigm is something we are doing, but it has a longer history,” the 39-year-old stated, according to O Jogo. “It would be convenient to eliminate the distinction between titles.
“There has been no change. Next week, I will be here. The primary goal is to win the championship as soon as feasible.
Sporting supporters are urging Amroim to remain at the Estadio Jose Alvalade by bringing banners to their games.
‘We shall walk together Amorim 2050’ was the last banner displayed against Vitoria de Guimaraes.
The present deal between Amroim and Sporting ends in 2026.
More news…..
According to reports, Liverpool’s new manager has agreed a contract.
Because of connections to the Liverpool manager’s position, Nagelsmann has held negotiations with a number of interested teams but has turned them all down.
With Julian Nagelsmann agreeing to a new contract with the Germany national team, Liverpool now has less options when searching for Jurgen Klopp’s replacement.
The 36-year-old’s contract was originally intended to end with this summer’s home European Championships, when he was first chosen as interim manager. He has since decided to serve a longer term, citing “a decision of the heart” for the change.
Although Nagelsmann was never seen as the front-runner, he was briefly associated with the Liverpool role. His representative, Volker Struth, disclosed that his client had discussions with several European clubs and Bayern Munich, but all of them were passed up in favour of the national squad.
In an interview with the Spielmacher podcast, Struth stated, “It would be absurd to claim that we are not speaking with potential investors without first requesting their identity. I just have one thing to say: it’s not just Bayern Munich.”
Nevertheless, Nagelsmann has signed a new two-year contract with Germany, as the DFB has officially verified. After taking over for Hansi Flick in September, the coach has won three of his six games in charge, and he will remain in the position until after the 2026 World Cup.
In the meantime, Niko Kovac and Roberto De Zerbi are still included in the picture of conjecture, with Ruben Amorim being portrayed as the front-runner for the Liverpool job. As Liverpool continues their hunt, the ECHO disclosed that, in contrast to claims, no verbal agreement has been reached with Amorim.
More rumours have been stoked by journalist Pedro Sepulveda’s accusation that Amorim’s agent purchased a new home in Liverpool for one of his staff members. There are still rumours circulating about talks between Liverpool and the coach of Sporting Lisbon.
