Andy Robertson is pleading with Mohamed Salah to stay at Liverpool despite the Egypt forward’s current contract expiring in June of next year and his failure to sign a new one.
Andy Robertson has backed his colleague Mohamed Salah, stating that there is no denying the forward’s significance to Liverpool.
Salah’s record speaks for itself as he gets ready to lead Liverpool’s front line at Old Trafford in the upcoming chapter of their rivalry with Manchester United. He has scored more goals against the Red Devils than any other team, which highlights why he is considered indispensable.
Salah, thirty-two, is still impressive. As the days on his current deal run out, his contract negotiations are still very much in the spotlight, but his performance is still very good. “Mo’s goals, assists, and all-around play speak for themselves, and we hope it continues in the future,” Robertson stated. He plays the big game.
“Mo always shows up and comes up with something in the biggest games. We hope that this season he continues to accomplish what he has always done against our biggest rivals. Mo ignited Anfield the moment he stepped through the door, but he has ignited other stadiums as well. Of course he is a Premier League legend, but he still hopes to pen a few more tales.”
This season, Salah has scored in both of Liverpool’s Premier League victories over Brentford and Ipswich. “You know when a big game is coming up, but Mo sets the bar high every single day,” Robertson continued. Mohamed Salah is a great example of a professional, and if any young people are looking up to professionals, Mohamed Salah is a good choice.
“He dedicates his entire life to football, every single day. It is evident what form he is in. As he gets older, his physical characteristics, output, and shape are improving. He deserves credit for it. He is undoubtedly our primary man, so we hope that keeps happening.”
