Arne Slot discusses Liverpool’s victory and his two-word assessment of Mohamed Salah.

It appears that Arne Slot will take over as Liverpool’s next manager. The Feyenoord manager took some time to see his new club in action and shared his opinions on the goal scored by Mohamed Salah.
One spectator in particular showed attention while Liverpool, less than 520 miles away in Rotterdam, was going back to winning ways against Tottenham on Sunday.
The Reds returned to winning ways at Anfield, putting a challenging April behind them. Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott all scored goals to lead Liverpool to a 4-2 victory as they found some of the form that carried them this far in the title fight this season.
Although it seems unlikely that Arsenal and Manchester City will let the Reds in right now, Jürgen Klopp’s team is still technically in the hunt. However, Liverpool can play with some leeway in its final two games of the season because a third-place finish in the Premier League is now certain.
And it appears that they will be closely monitored by the team’s incoming management. Though Arne Slot had other matters to attend to on Sunday, he nevertheless tuned in to see the Reds play.
The Feyenoord manager, who is anticipated to succeed Klopp at Anfield, took some time to observe some of his new club’s play before his present team defeated PEC Zwolle 5-0. He even witnessed Salah open the score against Spurs.
Slot stated, “We had to come to the stadium, but I saw a few minutes of the game” (via The Athletic). Simply said, it’s a fantastic first goal.
Liverpool had a solid victory. I’ll see a lot of their games if I visit and the formal confirmation is there.
It appears like Slot will soon be officially announced as Liverpool’s new manager. The individual almost affirmed his appointment from yesterday.
Opportunities do present themselves occasionally in life, and you have to take them. That’s a decision I made for myself. It will be announced to you in the next days and weeks.
Liverpool.com comments: Even with his own game to consider, Slot is obviously doing his homework! The good news is that he will be able to witness the entire match because Liverpool plays at Aston Villa on Monday of next week. There might even be a chance for him to go to Villa Park and see them for himself. Next week, keep an eye out for the Dutchman.
