Arne Slot insist Liverpool should sign the 26-year-old Man United and Man City target

The new manager of Liverpool is already considering the summer transfer market at his new team.
Although the Dutch manager’s transfer to Anfield has not yet been formally revealed, it appears he is already organising his next move.
After joining Feyenoord in 2015, Jurgen Klopp is leaving the Premier League team, and Slot will take over as manager of the Merseyside team.
Prior to making his move, Slot has one eye on the transfer market and wants Liverpool to sign targets from Manchester United and Manchester City.
According to the Catalan newspaper El Nacional, the 45-year-old has asked the Reds board to fulfil the €60 million (£51.5 million) release clause for RB Leipzig offensive midfielder Dani Olmo.
The Reds are one of the few teams ready to provide the offensive midfield player a starting position and a chance to compete in the Champions League.
Liverpool is expected to be active during the summer transfer window in order to enhance their team and contend for titles the following year.
The Spain international has been widely predicted to search for a new challenge at the end of the season. It is believed that many Premier League teams, including Liverpool’s opponents, value him.
LFC would do well to make sure they don’t lose out to two of their biggest rivals: Fichajes has revealed that Olmo is drawing interest from Man United, and BILD has confirmed that Man City has made plans to buy the Spanish international.
Olmo can give Liverpool an offensive threat.
Olmo has scored eight goals and provided five assists so far this season, and Liverpool might really benefit from adding him in the summer.
He is the obvious candidate to replace Thiago Alcantara at Anfield when his contract expires at the end of the season since, at 26, he is extremely close to reaching the peak of his ability.
The player that will best match Slot’s concept and improve the Reds has been identified.
Now, it is up to the owners and club executives to back the manager in the transfer market. If they don’t, Olmo might end up enhancing an already excellent City team or helping United get better and become a bigger threat to Liverpool in the top four matchup the following season.
