Wataru Endo has been linked to a potential move during the transfer season, although it seems doubtful that Liverpool would want to weakened at that position given they haven’t yet added a midfield player to bolster their ranks.

According to Liverpool.com, it makes perfect sense that Gordon, Doak, Phillips, van den Berg, and Morton were not included in the team that travelled to Portman Road given how large Liverpool’s roster is right now. To put it plainly, they would not be included in the Reds’ first team plans this season, barring an injury crisis. This would be especially true if Liverpool made a few additions before the transfer market closed.
