In order to improve his midfield in anticipation of Jordan Henderson’s potential departure for Saudi Arabia, Jurgen Klopp is pursuing the transfer of Khephren Thuram.
The Liverpool transfer rumors are still circulating as the club begins preseason practice.
There are currently discussions about possible new signings after the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to the team. OGC Nice star Khephren Thuram is one name that has been connected to Liverpool.
Thuram was expected to remain at Nice, according to earlier reports, as Liverpool had diverted their focus and Bayern Munich had scaled back their interest.
The midfielder reportedly wanted to increase his chances of being selected for the French national team for Euro 2024. New reports, however, suggest that Liverpool is still interested in signing him.
This summer, Thuram’s services are sought after by both Liverpool and Bayern Munich, claims Foot Mercato. Nice would be willing to sell the 22-year-old, but only if their asking price of £43 million is met. Nice would also need to negotiate terms with the player, who is not actively seeking a transfer.
Borussia Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp’s former club, is reportedly interested in Thuram as well, so they could compete with Liverpool. Dortmund, however, might think the cost is excessive.
Jordan Henderson has been offered a lucrative deal to join him in the Saudi Pro League by former Liverpool captain and current manager Steven Gerrard of Al Ettifaq.
Levi Colwill is reportedly wanted by Liverpool, and they are prepared to make an offer. Other teams have expressed interest in the defender, but Chelsea insists that he is not for sale, so the defender’s future is uncertain.
Colwill’s current Blues contract is good until 2025, but he reportedly has second thoughts about staying with the team in the long run. During preseason, the player and Mauricio Pochettino are also expected to speak.

“Like the previous players, I hope I can portray it as accurately as possible.
And let’s hope it lasts for a long time and brings lots of joy.
”.
In his first season at Liverpool after making a sizable transfer from Benfica, Nuez wore number 27.
With nine goals in the Premier League, the striker scored 15 times overall.

It is stated on the official Liverpool club website that any supporters who have already purchased a “Darwin 27” shirt: “will be personally reimbursed by Nunez with a like-for-like exchange for a “Darwin 9” shirt. “.
