As the Reds decide on Mo Salah and negotiate three new contracts, Luis Diaz, a star for Liverpool, is expected to leave in a shocking transfer.
Not just him, but other Liverpool players are drawing attention in transfers.
If Liverpool can get Mo Salah to sign a new contract, LUIS DIAZ is expected to be the most high-profile player to leave the club this summer.
The Kop forward Diaz is being watched by a number of Spanish teams.
Luis Diaz is being watched by many Spanish teams in anticipation of a surprise summer transfer.
Mohamed Salah and Liverpool are eager to reach a new deal.
With so many attacking alternatives available to them, the Reds are open to hearing offers.
Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk’s new contracts are the top priorities for the person taking over for Jurgen Klopp.
And the future of Colombia’s star player Diaz, 27, will be impacted by the verdict of Salah in particular.
He had difficulties in the beginning part of the season, even before to the kidnapping of his parents in his own country.
However, since leaving Porto for £37 million in January 2022, Diaz has displayed glimmers of his former form.
Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara’s contracts are about to expire this summer, and they will be leaving Anfield.
Salah, Van Dijk, and Alexander-Arnold all have one full season remaining on their existing contracts.
Salah is desired by Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Pro League teams, while captain Van Dijk has backed down from remarks indicating he was unclear of his future following Klopp’s departure.
The Reds understand that until they have a new sporting director and a replacement for Klopp, they can only have rational talks with their stars.
The next manager’s identity will be decided with advice from the sporting director, who may be announced in the upcoming two weeks.
The favourite to succeed Klopp is Bayer Leverkusen CEO Xabi Alonso, a former Kop hero.
Other contenders are Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim, Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi, and Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann.
Although no formal approaches have been made as of yet, it is thought that Alonso’s team has been updated on Liverpool’s schedule.
Chiefs anticipate a reasonably calm summer transfer window, despite Andy Robertson, a left-back, being targeted by Bayern Munich.
The Reds are also prepared to make bids for Caoimhin Kelleher, their backup keeper who has performed admirably in Alisson’s absence.

As he continues to lead Bayer Leverkusen to unprecedented heights, Xabi Alonso, the manager target for Liverpool, is content and settled in Germany, sources have told Football Insider.
The 42-year-old Alonso has been the Merseysiders’ top target ever since Jurgen Klopp declared his intention to leave Anfield in January.
On January 28, Football Insider disclosed that the manager of Leverkusen is the “number one choice” to replace the renowned German in the Liverpool managerial position.
Football Insider has learned, though, from a reliable source that Alonso and his family have made Germany their permanent home.

Liverpool is researching a number of prospects and is still hopeful that they will be able to sign their former midfield player this summer.

His Leverkusen team is currently eight points ahead in the Bundesliga and is headed for a historic treble this season.
Alonso played with Liverpool for five years, winning the FA Cup and Champions League in that time. He made 210 games.
