Chelsea is upset about this and may report Liverpool to the FA, according to journalist Felix Johnston in the tweet below. They are also upset about Brighton’s persistence in trying to sign the talented young center-back after his loan stint there last season.

Further to this, Jürgen Klopp has held a phone call with Colwill directly.

Chelsea are extremely angered by Brighton & Liverpool’s persistence, as they have said many times directly that Levi is not for sale.

Colwill appears to be one of the most promising young players in the nation right now, so if he doesn’t get regular playing time at Chelsea, he should undoubtedly move on.

He may have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the first team if Mauricio Pochettino and other important CFC figures take a close look at him during preseason.

Even with last season’s blip, Klopp has done a good job at Anfield for most of his career, so Liverpool could also be an alluring option for Colwill.

LFC would do well to build a new-look defense around a talented player like Colwill because Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip aren’t getting any younger.
