Chelsea News: The latest Blues headlines and gossip with updates and stories from Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho and Emile Smith Rowe.
Sancho shock
Chelsea have been linked with the move of Manchester United striker Jadon Sancho as he looks to supplement his attacking midfield options following injuries to Christopher Nkunku and Carney Chukwuemeka.
As the Blues also prepare for an offer from the Red Devils for left-back Marc Cucurella, social media rumors suggest Sancho could still be heading in the opposite direction.
As a player with Premier League experience and the preferred age for new signings, Sancho is someone who would make sense for Chelsea in many areas. However, his diminishing returns at Old Trafford raise big questions. Felix shock
Felix shock
Chelsea could see former loanee Joao Felix join Liverpool after reports suggested the Portuguese star was their ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah should the latter leave.
Salah was the target of much attention from the Saudi Pro League at the end of the summer as Al Ittihad plotted action. The player is said to have accepted an offer but is now waiting for Liverpool to give the green light themselves.
Chelsea refused to keep Felix after his six-month loan spell at the end of last season, but are now looking for an attacking No.10 player again.
Emile Smith Rowe interest
Chelsea are interested in Arsenal and England star Emile Smith Rowe as they look to add another striker to their ranks before the September 1 summer deadline. The Hale End graduate has struggled to get minutes since an injury last season and has fallen out of favor under Mikel Arteta.
The Daily Mail now write that Chelsea have shortlisted him, with Barcelona’s Ferran Torres and Raphinha being options for Mauricio Pochettino. Although nothing seems to have progressed further, the Blues look to the trio with the ability to make a move.
According to football.london, Chelsea are also eyeing Lyon duo Bradley Barcola and Rayan Cherki.

Premier League score: Chelsea 3-0 Luton Town; post match ratings and reactions following the game
THREE POINTS WINNER AT THE BRIDGE DINNER
Chelsea didn’t get off to the best start, but came into action after a few minutes and created some excellent chances, but were unable to convert them when Raheem Sterling fired straight at the goalkeeper from ten yards after an effort on goal. mouth. and Enzo Fernández aimed his shot over the bar.
But Sterling then took matters into his own hands, putting on a brilliant individual run, losing three or four defenders and then finishing capably with his left foot into the far bottom corner. We haven’t seen many of these goals since Eden Hazard’s departure.
Unfortunately, Chelsea subsequently failed to capitalize on that breakthrough and failed to generate any shots in the final half hour of the first half. Luton rarely threatened, but with just one goal they felt anything but comfortable. Chelsea also made a reasonably good start to the second half, with Chilwell squandering a brilliant opportunity by opting to make the extra pass rather than shoot when eight yards wide. Further chances were squandered in quick succession by Sterling and Jackson as frustration levels began to mount.
Luton then gave a frightening reminder how close the score still was despite Chelsea’s dominance, creating a huge chance out of practically nothing. Sánchez manages to take the shot and clear it, with Gusto’s desperate dive that takes the sting out of the shot but also deflects it.
Chilwell and Sterling then squandered a few more chances before Sterling finally completed a beautiful pass in the 68th minute. Sterling then continued to be a supplier for a few minutes, with Jackson touching home to secure the points.
Three points, to the Bridge!
Carefree.
