Danny Murphy has predicted Darwin Nunez will become a Liverpool superstar this season, with the striker being the hero against NewcastleDanny Murphy has predicted Darwin Nunez will become a Liverpool superstar this season, with the striker being the hero against Newcastle United last weekend.

In a Daily Mail article, the former Liverpool player announced that the Uruguay international would make an appearance after an uneven first season with the Anfield side last year.

When asked to describe Nunez’s potential for Liverpool, Murphy said: “I think we’re going to see the best of Darwin Nunez soon.” He is going to be a superstar.
Give it time.

Nunez, who netted a brace for Liverpool off the bench against Newcastle last week, already appears to be a new player for the Reds.

And Murphy’s prediction that Nunez will become a superstar could be on the right track because from what we’ve seen this season and in pre-season, the striker looks like a very different player.

Danny Murphy has predicted Darwin Nunez will become a Liverpool superstar this season, with the striker being the hero against Newcastle
Indeed, Nunez has all the qualities to become a true Liverpool superstar and further fine performances in the coming weeks will be crucial for the striker to fulfill his potential.

Nunez could become Liverpool’s main striker this season

Nunez’s appearance for Liverpool against Newcastle is already a contender for one of the season’s performances and there is real reason to believe the striker can reach new heights this season.

The 24-year-old is an agent of chaos when fit and one of Europe’s deadliest strikers, something we saw little of when he was a Liverpool player.

But that could change very quickly in the coming weeks and today against Villa the striker could score more goals before potentially becoming Liverpool’s main striker.

Liverpool have agreed a £35m deal to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch on a five-year deal.

The Dutch international is expected in Merseyside on Thursday and will undergo a medical on Friday.

Mail Sport reported earlier this week that the 21-year-old had reached an agreement with Jürgen Klopp’s side and is now expected to complete the move after missing training with Bayern on Thursday morning.

Liverpool’s German sporting director Jorg Schmadtke has extensive Bundesliga experience and has been instrumental in the ongoing discussions to date.

The Dutch international joined Bayern last summer for £21m on a five-year deal with the Bavarian giants having turned down interest from Manchester United to secure his signature. Liverpool have reached deal to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch for £35m

However, Gravenberch struggled to maintain a consistent place in the starting eleven in his first season in Germany as Bayern rallied from poor form to secure an 11th successive league title on the final day of last season.

Klopp is said to be a big fan of the former Ajax star, as his versatility offers the Reds plenty of opportunities in midfield.

The Reds are in need of reinforcements after some former supporters left the club this summer.

Jordan Henderson joined former teammate Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq, while Fabinho also moved to the Saudi Pro League and joined Al-Ittihad, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner they left last season at the end of their contract.

Meanwhile, Bayern are continuing to talks with Chelsea over defender Trevoh Chalobah. Chalobah has five years left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, but the former England international is yet to play a competitive game for the Blues this season.

They are now expected to prevail over Fulham’s Joao Palhinha as well. The German giants were turned down an initial offer of £47m but are said to be willing to pay up to £60m, while Marco Silva’s side are struggling with £70m.

Bayern are now set to continue their search for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.

‘Incredible’ player doesn’t want transfer after Liverpool move

Liverpool have only strengthened their midfield in the current transfer window and have not improved any other department so far.
Johan Bakayoko is set to stay at PSV Eindhoven this summer despite rumors the winger has been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Belgium international has decided to stay in the Netherlands and PSV are currently negotiating to give Bakayoko an improved contract.

Liverpool were one of several teams linked with the 20-year-old striker this summer, although it is now likely that Bakayoko will stay with PSV in Eindhoven.

Hailed as an “incredible” talent by Foot The Ball, Bakayoko is easily one of the most exciting strikers in all of Europe and Liverpool could have been a good target for the winger.

However, it is now clear that Bakayoko will stay at PSV in Holland as Liverpool are set to miss another goal this summer. Liverpool will not be too acidic if it missed Bakayoko

Bakayoko has always been a strange link which was initially something different from the need for Liverpool than a long attack this summer, even if the Belgian is as exciting as him.

And the red will probably feel little pain in Bakayoko who decides to stay with PSV, with another year in Holland the best decision of the strikers.

As a result, Liverpool could return to Bakayoko next year if the attacker reaches a different level. The PSV will probably also buy the Belgian star if it will be too good for the division.
