Despite Jurgen Klopp’s entreaties for the team to extend an offer to Joel Matip, Joel Matip is drawing interest from Italy as Liverpool prepares to bid farewell to a number of prominent players this summer.

Italian teams are reportedly interested in Joel Matip, a defender who is expected to depart Liverpool at the end of the current campaign.

A severe knee injury has kept the center-half out of action for significant portions of the season.
