Director of Liverpool issues warning to Manchester United and Real Madrid regarding Harry Kane pursuit.

The head of Liverpool’s transfer analysis team, Dr. Ian Graham, believes that any club that signs Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer will be one that “doesn’t care about value for money.”.
Although 90min understands chairman Daniel Levy has made it clear he has no intentions of selling his star striker this summer regardless of how much money is offered, Kane is set to enter the final year of his contract with Spurs this summer and has attracted serious interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Even if Levy were persuaded to sell Kane, it would require a colossal transfer fee that would rank Kane among the most expensive players in history, a deal that Graham, Liverpool’s director of research, believes would involve a significant amount of risk.
Graham responded, “A club that doesn’t care about value for money,” when asked which club would ultimately sign Kane this summer at the Cheltenham Science Festival.
“.
He is 29 years old, Graham continued.
For three years of performance that could begin to deteriorate, the transfer fee will be expensive.
“Alex Ferguson built a team that was aging just as he left [Manchester United], and from a data perspective, that is magnificent. It firmly established his legacy. “.
In order to prevent Kane from leaving the club for free in the following season, Spurs have informed the striker that he won’t be sold this summer.
Graham also took the time to dash any slim hopes the Reds may have of signing longtime social media target Kylian Mbappe, who will leave Liverpool this summer after serving for 11 years as a member of the club’s transfer analysis team.
The PSG forward was, regrettably, “financially out of Liverpool’s league,” he said.

Franck Kessie is not a player that Liverpool is interested in acquiring.
Liverpool have been linked with a transfer of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie in recent weeks, but are not pursuing it.
Athletic’s James Pearce has claimed Liverpool have no interest in signing 26-year-old Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie this summer.
Kessie has been linked with a move from Barcelona this summer and the Spanish giants view him as a lasting asset.
It’s no secret that Barcelona are trying to raise money through sales in order to get their own signings.
It looks like they’re ready to sell the 26-year-old midfielder after signing him just a year ago.
The Blaugrana signed him for free and now hope to sell him for a substantial profit.
There is no doubt that Liverpool will need several reinforcements in midfield this summer.
They have reportedly finalized the deal to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion. But Kessie is clearly not on their list.
Liverpool are now eyeing Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Manu Kone and OGC Nice’s Khephren Thuram. While Kessie has the physicality to thrive in English football, he may not be perfect for Liverpool.
Jürgen Klopp favors technically gifted midfielders with agility and flair.
Meanwhile, Kessie has also been linked with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur.
And it remains to be seen whether the London club will be able to sign him in the coming weeks. The 26-year-old arrived at Barcelona with the expectation of establishing himself as a key player for the Spanish club.
The move clearly didn’t work for him and he struggled for regular playing time under Xavi Hernandez. The Ivory Coast international needs to leave to play regularly and a move to the Premier League would be ideal for him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have lost the likes of James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain on a free transfer and must look to significantly strengthen their midfield unit before the window closes.
