Chelsea are preparing for a busy summer transfer window as Mauricio Pochettino looks to sign a new striker, goalkeeper and central midfielder.

After opening talks to sign Romeo Lavia, the Blues saw their hopes of also signing Brighton’s Moises Caicedo boosted by the departure of a teammate.

Real Madrid have contacted Kai Havertz’s management and are looking to sign the German as he looks to replace Karim Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea will meet Inter in the coming days to discuss Romelu Lukaku’s future, while Andre Onana, Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella could also be on the agenda.

The Blues reportedly rejected a £34m offer for Onana from Inter Milan, despite having “agreed” personal terms with the goalkeeper. And Christopher Nkunku has broken his silence on a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG are in the race, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha during this summer transfer window.

The Ivory Coast international is set to become a free agent in the coming weeks as his contract with the Eagles is set to expire.

Chillwell on Man United

Ben Chilwell has spoken about his support for Manchester United since childhood, providing context to previous rumors linking him with leaving the club.

Moving Zaha

Wilfried Zaha, a former Chelsea target and apparently still on the Blues’ watchlist, is accepting offers from around the world.

Chukwuemeka Position

Chelsea have no plans to sell Carney Chukwuemeka this summer or add a perpetual clause to a loan deal, according to football.london.

As reported early last month, the club are considering sending the 19-year-old midfielder on loan this summer to help him gain first-team experience elsewhere.

Chukwuemeka made just 14 Premier League appearances in the 2022-23 season – his first at Stamford Bridge – and just two of those have come from starts.

Liverpool find an alternative to Mount

Liverpool are said to have found an alternative option for Mason Mount, with Manchester United closing in on the 24-year-old.

The Reds were favorites to sign the Chelsea star but have since fallen down the pecking order with Arsenal and United being favourites.

It has now been reported that they will switch to James Ward-Prowse for their midfield goal instead. Ugarte explained
