Chelsea transfer news: The latest Blues headlines, stories and gossip from Sunday with updates on Kai Havertz, Andre Onana and Moises Caicedo

Chelsea are preparing for a busy summer transfer window as Mauricio Pochettino looks to sign a new striker, goalkeeper and central midfielder.

After opening talks to sign Romeo Lavia, the Blues saw their hopes of also signing Brighton’s Moises Caicedo boosted by the departure of a teammate.

Real Madrid have contacted Kai Havertz’s management and are looking to sign the German as he looks to replace Karim Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea will meet Inter in the coming days to discuss Romelu Lukaku’s future, while Andre Onana, Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella could also be on the agenda.

The Blues reportedly rejected a £34m offer for Onana from Inter Milan, despite having “agreed” personal terms with the goalkeeper. And Christopher Nkunku has broken his silence on a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

Ben Foster-7

Made comfortable saves and provided great first-half entertainment when he needed the chance to talk while deflecting a cross.

He’s never been at his best but showed why he’s now best friends with Ryan Reynolds and landed a new contract.

Heather O’Reilly – 7

One of the stars of the first half as she charged forward down the right flank and connected well with Totti. Could also have scored if the late run into the box had been timed a bit better. Soccer Aid World XI player ratings. SAITHE

After attending the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend and meeting Ben Chilwell, Reece James and Joao Felix, he is making the most of his free time.

He now sports a new hairstyle, in line with Paul Gascoigne’s popular style which came into fashion during Euro 2021. At the time, Mount didn’t join the group that wore it, but he does. NOW.
