Federico Chiesa has spoken out after making his debut for Liverpool. The 26-year-old forward, who joined from Juventus late in the summer transfer window, had a brief appearance as Liverpool triumphed over AC Milan at the San Siro in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

After the match, several players celebrated on social media, including Chiesa, who shared multiple images from the game on Instagram, garnering over 300,000 likes within eight hours. Van Dijk also celebrated his own milestone, marking his 50th Champions League appearance and sharing a post with the caption: “Back [shooting star emoji]!”

Speaking to Amazon Prime after the match, Van Dijk emphasized the importance of consistency. “It sounds very easy but the consistency. You have to stay fit, you have to do everything in your power to be ready for the next game,” he stated. He noted the need for every player to be in peak condition, whether they start or come off the bench.

“We go home now, we’re back home in the middle of the night but recovery starts already, eat the right stuff,” he added, stressing the significance of preparation for upcoming challenges.

Some players shared less; Darwin Nunez uploaded a silent image from the match. He replaced Diogo Jota in the second half but later changed his account to private, limiting access to his profile. Nunez has yet to start a competitive match for Liverpool under Slot, raising questions about his future.
