A boost has been given to Manchester United ahead of their Premier League matchup against Liverpool at Anfield this coming weekend

A boost has been given to Manchester United ahead of their Premier League matchup against Liverpool at Anfield this coming weekend.

Following their terrible season in which they missed out on Champions League slots the previous year, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are playing well in the Premier League this year and appear to be back in the running for the championship.

After an incredible summer transfer window, the Merseyside club is back to their best in the league and is once again far ahead of the Old Trafford team.

With 11 losses in all competitions, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are in terrible shape. They just lost 3-0 to Bournemouth before the match.

Liverpool set to miss key man

Gaston Edul, an Argentine journalist, posted on X that claims Alexis Mac Allister will miss the Reds’ next few weeks of games at Anfield.

The former midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion is said to have a “bad” bruising on his knee; nonetheless, Mac Allister is not missing any ligament injury, but he will miss the team’s next few games.

Although the Argentine opened his career with a spectacular goal against Fulham, the midfielder has not had the impact on the team that supporters may have hoped for.

United’s chances

He would, however, be a huge loss for the Anfield team in the middle of the park, and the hope is that the Red Devils can capitalise on this.

Some people might think that the Red Devils have little chance of winning against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team because United hasn’t triumphed at Anfield since a 1-0 victory in 2016 thanks to a goal from Wayne Rooney.

But if United doesn’t think they can win at Anfield, the Red Devils might be in for a crushing defeat against a team that will be itching to seek revenge on Ten Hag’s team.

Kyanno Lorenzo is available to Liverpool for just £200,000.

Kyanno Lorenzo, an 18-year-old phenom from Benfica, might be available to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool for under £200,000.

Liverpool is reportedly interested in Kyanno Lorenzo, per a report from Soccernews. The adolescent phenomenon has gained a lot of notoriety and attention for his outstanding performances. The Merseyside club is willing to sign him for a meagre £200,000 because they want him in their ranks.

Lorenzo began his football career in the Feyenoord junior system before moving on to Sparta Rotterdam. He relocated to Portugal in 2021 and joined Benfica’s youth team. He has advanced through the ranks over the years and is currently a member of their Under-23 squad.

The 18-year-old winger has been playing for Benfica’s Under-23 team and, more recently, the Netherlands Under-19 team, and he has been doing an incredible job for them. Many teams from throughout Europe have been closely monitoring his circumstances at the Portuguese club as a result of his remarkable ascent and growth.

One of the reasons why there seems to be an unprecedented amount of interest in Lorenzo’s services is because his contract with Benfica expires at the end of the current campaign. Benfica will look to cash in on the teenager if they are unable to tie him down to a new contract within the next few weeks.

They will allow him to depart in the next transfer window for a mere £200,000, according to the report. Liverpool is among the teams that have been keeping an eye on the teenager in the interim. Lorenzo has the makings of a spectacular player, and the Reds are always searching for young players with enormous potential.

The Reds are eager to sign the adolescent phenom for a meagre £200,000, so they will do everything in their power to bring him to the team. The 18-year-old may not be ready to play in the Premier League just yet, but he may end up in their starting lineup
