In advance of the start of the new Premier League season, Liverpool changes their badge.

Liverpool has announced that, in advance of the 2024–2025 season, the team would be changing its emblem across all digital media.

This summer at Anfield is expected to bring about a lot of change, with Arne Slot taking over as team manager, returning players like Michael Edwards and Julian Ward, and new signings throughout the transfer window. And not just the team is affected by this.

Before the 2024–2025 season, Liverpool has announced that the team will be changing the logo across digital and mobile platforms. They’ve decided to stick with a more subdued appearance for the time being, but the Liver Bird will still be visible in these regions.

“It will be used to represent LFC across all the club’s social media platforms, the official website, and the mobile app,” the club said in a statement. The Premier League’s host broadcasters, together with other national and international media, will utilise the Liver Bird in digital and TV contexts next season.

“Club branding has to be made much clearer and more readable in ever-smaller places, as evidenced by the fact that mobile devices account for 98% of users of club social channels and over 86% of visitors to Liverpoolfc.com.

“The Liver Bird insignia has appeared in various guises over the years, having made its debut on Liverpool’s uniform during their 1950 FA Cup final loss to Arsenal. But it hasn’t changed since 2012 and it won’t either, along with the 97 emblem that will always be on the back of club uniforms and is protected by the eternal flames.

“It will also feature in all club digital marketing and communications, across club products, by LFC partners and wider official relationships.”

The official club insignia will remain a significant part of the club’s identity, the club has stated, and it will be shown in non-digital locations like the club offices, Anfield, and the AXA Training Centre and AXA Melwood Training Centre.

According to Liverpool.com, the new digital design is more in keeping with the contemporary branding that the majority of football clubs choose to use nowadays. The club’s rich history is still acknowledged, though, and its preservation through the use of the emblem on the stadium and other facilities guarantees that it won’t be forgotten.

Additionally, this is an ideal time for the team to make these kinds of adjustments as Liverpool prepares to take on a new chapter on all fronts under Arne Slot, who took over for the iconic manager Jurgen Klopp.

Slot’s reign at Liverpool could begin with Inacio transfer.

Goncalo Inacio

The Dutchman appears to be confident in obtaining solid results from the start of next season, and one of his primary requirements is to strengthen the defensive.

The Reds wants Goncalo Inacio.

According to CaughtOffside sources familiar with Slot’s plans, Sporting’s excellent centre-back Goncalo Inacio, whom Liverpool has been pursuing since last November, is the club’s primary goal.

In January, the Portuguese defender decided to stay with Sporting until the conclusion of the season for personal reasons.

However, he is now ready to make the big move to the Premier League, with Liverpool seeking to finalise his transfer in the coming weeks.

Keeping with the Reds defence, Virgil van Dijk’s position must be observed.

His contract will expire in June 2025, and conversations over his renewal have stalled. As a result, the Saudi Pro League continues to view him as a top priority.

In midfield, Liverpool is pursuing Feyenoord’s Quinten Timber, a player Slot also values; however, there is fierce competition for his services, with several Italian and German clubs interested.

The Anfield club has requested information on the potential costs of the operation for Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, but Newcastle, AC Milan, and Manchester United are also in the running, so Liverpool are unlikely to have it all their own.
