According to rumors, Chelsea has decided who they will choose to start in the top position on Monday in place of the suspended Nicolas Jackson.

Jackson will not play against Fulham on Monday night after receiving a suspension for quickly accumulating five Premier League yellow cards.

Chelsea does have other striker options, including newcomer Deivid Washington, who has yet to play in a senior match for the club, and Armando Broja, who is gradually returning to full fitness after a serious injury.

For the aforementioned reasons, none of those choices are the best. Raheem Sterling or Cole Palmer, who have both played in that position before, could also be used by Mauricio Pochettino as a false nine.

The Daily Mirror claims, however, that Chelsea will reportedly use Armando Broja, who is returning, against Fulham on Monday.

Starting him from the beginning would be a risky move, in my opinion.

Before Chelsea’s match against Fulham, Mauricio Pochettino will need to make some important decisions. Cole Palmer could mak his full Premier League debut for the Blues.

When Chelsea travels to rival Fulham in the Premier League on Monday, Mauricio Pochettino must make some significant decisions.

The Argentine head coach is now tasked with trying to create some momentum within this struggling Blues team after coming off of a much-needed win against Brighton earlier in the week.

As he addressed the media at Cobham on Friday afternoon, Pochettino was in a very good mood, which is the feeling that comes with a rare victory. With his Chelsea team playing at Craven Cottage on Monday against Fulham, he will be hoping to have a similar attitude on Tuesday morning.

Prior to that, Pochettino must make some crucial choices regarding his team’s composition. Ben Chilwell will now be sidelined for a while, but Carney Chukwuemeka is almost ready to come back.

Chilwell was substituted in the dying moments of Chelsea’s Carabao Cup victory over Brighton, and it already appears to be bad news for the vice-captain of the Blues. However, the club is particularly well-stocked at left-back.

Chilwell should be replaced by Ian Maatsen after his impressive performance on Wednesday. The Dutchman performed well enough to start the match against Fulham, despite playing in a position that was more advanced than his natural left-back position.

Due to the absence of Malo Gusto and Reece James, Axel Disasi appears set to start at right-back, while Levi Colwill may move to the center to partner Thiago Silva. Naturally, Robert Sanchez stays in goal.

Since Moises Caicedo’s signing in the summer, Chelsea supporters have been pining for a double pivot of Caicedo and Fernandez. Enzo has been playing in a more advanced role, but his performance recently hasn’t been up to his usual high standards, so perhaps a position change is in the works?

Cole Palmer could make his full Premier League debut for the Blues as a result, and it would also enable the addition of another attacker.
Palmer was outstanding in Chelsea’s victory over Brighton, and Pochettino went into great detail about how much he has been impressed with the England Under-21s international since he joined Stamford Bridge.

Although they might both join the team again, Noni Madueke and Chukwuemeka are not likely to be used right away.

Instead, in an effort to inspire confidence in the Ukraine international, he could start Raheem Sterling on the right and keep Mykhailo Mudryk in the middle.

On Monday night, Nicolas Jackson will complete his one-match suspension. Chelsea does not have many options, but Armando Broja will make his first start of the year in the starting XI if they wanted to play with a natural center-forward.

The ideal Chelsea starting eleven would include; Sanchez, Disasi, Silva, Colwill, Maatsen, Caicedo, Enzo, Sterling, Palmer, Mudryk, and Broja.
