Injury status and potential return date for Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.

During Scotland’s loss to Spain, Liverpool’s Andy Robertson was replaced.
A collision with Unai Simon caused the defender to leave the field with a shoulder injury.
If Robertson’s injury is as severe as anticipated, he might require a lengthy recovery period.
The fact that defender Andy Robertson had to be replaced during Scotland’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Spain due to an apparent injury will make Liverpool fans resent the break.
After losing 2-0 in Seville to Alvaro Morata and debutant Oihan Sancet, Scotland lost their first chance to advance to the European Championships next summer.
After colliding with Spain’s goalkeeper Unai Simon just before halftime, Robertson suffered a shoulder injury and had to leave the game, which didn’t help the Tartan Army in the second half.
Here is all the information you need to know about Robertson’s physical condition following his return to Liverpool prior to Scotland’s friendly matchup with France.
Which injury is Andy Robertson suffering from?
After being fouled by Unai Simon at Estadio de La Cartuja, Liverpool’s number 26 left the field with his right arm in a sling made of his shirt. Robertson was replaced right away and appeared to be extremely uncomfortable as he entered the dressing room.
Under the impact of the Spain goalkeeper, Robertson may have dislocated his shoulder, a painful injury that requires time to heal.
“Obviously he’s hurt his shoulder,” Scotland manager Steve Clarke said following the game.
We’ll take a look before returning to his club, obviously.
It always seems to happen after you lose one player in a position: we lose Kieran [Tierney] on the left side, and then Andy sustains a shoulder injury.
“We’ll see how it goes, how things calm down, and hopefully he’s good for his club as soon as possible and ready to assist us in November.
There is hope that Robertson’s injury is not as serious because Liverpool has not yet confirmed whether or not he has dislocated his shoulder.
The 29-year-old will, however, probably continue to spend some games in the recovery area.
When will Andy Robertson return from injury?

Early reports indicate that Robertson’s injury could keep him out for two weeks to four months.
A confirmation from Liverpool regarding the type and severity of the injury he sustained will help to clarify the timeframe, which is admittedly quite broad.
He’ll probably miss more than three months if the left back needs surgery to repair a dislocated shoulder.
Thus, Robertson might not be found until mid-January, with a longer absence being possible.
Robertson might only miss two to four weeks of action if the injury is not as serious as initially thought, necessitating no surgery.
Even though it’s still a setback for Jurgen Klopp, that timeframe is much more tolerable.
Robertson will undoubtedly miss Liverpool’s first Merseyside derby matchup with Everton on October 21 regardless of the severity of his condition.
He’ll probably be replaced by Greek international Kostas Tsimikas, who will start the game.

Liverpool is in negotiations to finally sign a player for $43 million – Rep.
Liverpool made sufficient improvements to their midfield during the summer transfer window, but they paid no attention to their shaky defense.
Piero Hincapie was a candidate for the Reds, but they decided against making a move for him.
To finally sign him in January, they are currently in negotiations.
Famous German news outlet Bild revealed in August that Jurgen Klopp is eager to entice the South American to strengthen the defense at Anfield.
To confirm the interest of the Merseysiders, his agent, Manuel Sierra, has just arrived.
According to the spokesperson, Joaquin Saavedra of Futbol Sin Casette (via Bolavip).
Liverpool was considering signing him, but at the time they decided to spend money on the midfield.
They are speculating, like other clubs, that it will cost at least 50 million (euro, i.e. e.
£43.3million).
The team led by Xabi Alonso and featuring the Ecuadorian international finished sixth in the Bundesliga last year.
He did not play in the league for the league leaders’ first three games of the season because of a suspension, though.
Hincapie participated in his first full game of the season on Thursday in the 2-1 Europa League victory over Molde.
Liverpool has only managed two clean sheets in their first ten games, and they have heavily relied on their offense to come from behind this season.
The January transfer window needs to be used to strengthen the defense. Should the Reds make an offer of £43.3million to finally sign Hincapie.
