A request has been made by Newcastle United to acquire Arthur Melo, a former midfield player

A request has been made by Newcastle United to acquire Arthur Melo, a former midfield player for Liverpool.

The Brazilian midfielder had a challenging season at Anfield after joining the team on loan, although his time there was significantly hampered by fitness problems.

Everton and Newcastle United are interested in signing the midfield player, so he may return to the Premier League.

As teams swarm to sign the Brazilian, Arthur is eager to return to the Premier League, according to Spanish daily Marca.

The midfield player is open to staying in Italy, though, as Roma and Napoli are interested in hiring him.

Arthur’s career turned around while he was on loan at Fiorentina the previous season.

In all competitions, he made 48 appearances despite his worries about injuries.

He is anticipated to return to Juventus for the preseason, where the team’s new coach, Thiago Motta, will assess him.

It is not totally impossible that he will play in the future season for Juventus.

Newcastle has already asked about his availability, and Everton has been monitoring his situation.

In the midfield, Eddie Howe of Newcastle is seeking fresh players after Elliott Anderson and Yankuba Minteh were lost.

Newcastle United intends to participate in the transfer window.

In order to prevent an injury crisis that wrecked the Magpies’ campaign last season, Howe is willing to invest this summer and the team needs depth in the squad.

The defender Lloyd Kelly has already signed with Newcastle, and they will now likely bolster their attack, goalkeeping, and midfield.

Since the Magpies are constantly vying for a spot in Europe and have improved their competitiveness and style of play under Howe, they present Arthur with a better opportunity than he would have at Everton. The future of any new acquisition is therefore more promising than that of the Toffees.

The Euro 2024 midfielder is viewed by Liverpool as a player who can balance the midfield.

Joshua Kimmich, 29, of Bayern Munich, is reportedly a target for Liverpool to join this summer.

Arsenal, Manchester City, and Barcelona will compete with Liverpool to sign him. Tutto Juve claims that the midfield player is amenable to leaving the German powerhouses.

Kimmich’s exit from the Merseyside club appears likely, as new manager Arne Slot is hoping to recruit a midfield player during the transfer season.

Following Jurgen Klopp’s exit, the Reds will support their new manager in their efforts to bolster the roster and make additions.

Liverpool is prepared to sign a midfield player this summer, even though they made midfield additions last summer in response to the departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.

Despite the fact that Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and other recent arrivals have given the Reds more midfield depth, they still believe that they need a midfield player who can play at the base, directly in front of the defence.

The Bayern Munich star Kimmich is seen by the Reds as the guy who can provide them stability in the middle of the park.

Kimmich would also provide the team more versatility because he can play right back as well.

A star from Bayern may be the perfect addition to Liverpool.

As a result, Liverpool would have more choices for the manager and the team to rotate between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kimmich at full-back and midfield, respectively.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are vying for Kimmich’s signature, and former Bayern manager Hansi Flick is eager to work with Kimmich again at Camp Nou.

After Klopp leaves, the Reds would gain the experience they need and a winning attitude by signing someone like Kimmich.

He should be available in a cheap contract because he will be a free agent come summertime.
