Jordan Henderson's transfer from Liverpool was completed today after a £82 million agreement, according to sources.
According to sources cited by Football Insider, Liverpool will move forward with the sale of Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq in a deal worth a total of £82 million on Saturday.

The 33-year-old captain of Anfield has signed a two-year deal with the Saudi club that includes an option for a third year. As a result of the agreement, his salary will increase to £700,000 per week, or more than £36 million per year.

On Friday afternoon, Football Insider exclusively reported that there had been progress in negotiations for a £10 million deal and that Henderson had informed Liverpool of his desire to leave.

The English international’s illustrious 12-year Anfield career will come to an end with the completion of the move, the Saudi club is confident.

Given that their captain has two years left on his contract, Liverpool is anticipated to agree to a price of around £10 million.

Thursday (13 July)’s Football Insider report claimed that if Henderson told Liverpool he wanted to leave, they would not obstruct his transfer.

The Reds are reportedly on track to lose a fourth senior midfielder this summer after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner all left on free transfers.

The futures of Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara, both of whom have drawn significant interest from the Middle East, are also in question.

Given Henderson’s influence at Anfield since joining in a £16 million move from boyhood club Sunderland, it’s possible that his departure will be the one that causes the most uproar.

After club legend Steven Gerrard left in 2015 and took over as manager of Al Ettifaq, he was named Liverpool’s captain.

Liverpool won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions League, Uefa Super Cup, and Fifa Club World Cup under Henderson’s captaincy.

In other news, Liverpool is preparing a formal move for Romeo Lavia as three other deals get closer.

There is “blood in the water,” according to a journalist, as Liverpool tries to sign a player for £40 million.

Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, is the target of Liverpool, who genuinely believe they can sign him.
Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, is the target of Liverpool, who genuinely believe they can sign him.

Colwill has emerged as the Reds’ top target to bolster their defense this summer. However, the general consensus has been that it will be extremely challenging to pry him away from Chelsea.

But, according to author Graeme Bailey, that might no longer be the case. Bailey asserted during an appearance on 90min’s Talking Transfer Podcast that Liverpool is becoming more optimistic about the possibility of a transfer.

According to our understanding, Liverpool believes they can free him, the journalist says. The opportunity for Levi Colwill to play for Chelsea is guaranteed.

Although Chelsea doesn’t want him to leave, players who don’t commit to their futures are sold. There is something in this that I believe Colwill finds appealing.

Liverpool is pushing for this quite hard because they can see that there is blood in the water. At Anfield, there is a conviction that they can land him because he is their top target right now.
”.

Colwill’s support from Liverpool is growing.

Liverpool has increased its offer to secure the signing to over £25.7 million.
It will cost Liverpool a fortune to sign Colwill this summer, whether or not you believe it. It won’t be cheap if Chelsea eventually caves and sells the 20-year-old.

Brighton has reportedly given up after having a £30 million offer rejected. The Seagulls allegedly had a £40 million offer on the way, but it has not yet been delivered.

They appear willing to pay whatever sum is required on behalf of Liverpool in order to bring Colwill to Anfield.

They appear to think the England U21 star wants the transfer and are prepared to put Chelsea to the test. However, no firm offer appears to be forthcoming as of yet.

Liverpool’s current attention is perhaps too much on improving their midfield. They still don’t know how that part of the roster will look come next season, but they are fairly settled in defense.

Jurgen Klopp still has four excellent center-back options if Colwill isn’t signed, for instance. The repercussions will be worse if he fails to bring in another midfielder.

Therefore, it might be some time before we actually see any movement with regard to Colwill going to Liverpool. But perhaps that’s okay as long as his situation at Chelsea is precarious.
