Liverpool
Just what Jürgen Klopp intended, Liverpool has sent Man City 20 warnings.

The Liverpool players sent a variety of signals to Manchester City over the international break, and they did just what Jürgen Klopp would have wanted.
At last, it’s finished. The November international break came to an end on Tuesday night, which means that all of Liverpool’s players will now report back to the AXA Training Centre to catch up with Jürgen Klopp and get ready for the crucial game against Manchester City this coming weekend.
This was a good international break for Liverpool, as far as they go. Crucially, there don’t seem to be any new injuries, at least from what we can see, which will help Klopp ahead of that crucial matchup with Pep Guardiola. Aside from the injuries, though, the Liverpool manager is happy with his team’s performance.
The stars of Liverpool did not hold back when representing their nations, leading their teams to victories and turning up some absolutely amazing displays. The first team players for Liverpool scored fifteen goals in all, with Mohamed Salah leading the way with four goals in a single game for Egypt, followed by Harvey Elliott and Darwin Núñez with three each.
There were 20 goal involvements overall, with five goals and three assists from Dominik Szoboszlai and five goals and one assist from Salah. Klopp would have expected his players to perform exactly like they did while playing for their country before the City match.
You want your guys to be at their peak performance and firing on all cylinders when you have a game this big. From Liverpool’s point of view, there can be no doubts about that after the international week. Klopp’s players scored goals and guided their nations to victory, whereas Manchester City’s players were disappearing from their individual international matches like flies.
Of course, some of them also received rests. For instance, Diogo Jota did not see action throughout the weekend for Portugal, despite contributing to four goals in his previous four matches. In order to avoid receiving a suspension on Tuesday, Kostas Tsimikas was left out of Greece’s team. Additionally, Virgil van Dijk was substituted off for a rest during halftime for the Netherlands against Gibraltar.
Managers are often nervous during international breaks, but Klopp shouldn’t be concerned given how well Liverpool’s players performed in this one. His squad will be excited to get back to the AXA training facility and will be eager to maintain their strong play at the club level as well.
The ideal chance also appears in the shape of Manchester City. You want to play your bitter rivals when you’re on this kind of roll, and Liverpool should be ready to win big at the Etihad on Saturday if the international break is any indication.

Liverpool finds out what Kylian Mbappe demands, after Real Madrid ends interest in a move.
Real Madrid has been strongly linked to signing Kylian Mbappe, but they have apparently given up on the attacker because of the high cost of doing so.
As Kylian Mbappe’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2020, the attacker will become free to sign with another team.
Any attempt to get Mbappe, though, will not come cheaply because of his enormous signing fee and bumper weekly income. The 24-year-old has been strongly connected to Real Madrid, and it was anticipated that he would play at the Bernabeu the following season.
The forward’s wage demands are reportedly too expensive for the La Liga giants to continue pursuing, though. Liverpool has been interested in signing Mbappe since 2017, according to a report earlier this month from the French publication L’Equipe.
Furthermore, according to rumours from Spain, the Reds are currently in the “best position” to finalise a deal for him. Mbappe is reportedly seeking a yearly salary of €35 million (£30.5 million) after taxes and a signing bonus of over €100 million (£87 million), according to AS and Sport Witness.
As his agent, Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari is a die-hard Liverpool supporter, and the player has already disclosed that he had discussions about relocating to Anfield before to joining PSG. “We had a brief but meaningful conversation last year,” he said to the Telegraph.
“We had a brief conversation. Liverpool is my mother’s favourite team, therefore that’s why I spoke with them. You’ll have to ask her why I have no idea! We met them five years ago, and they are a terrific club. They were with me in Monaco. The club is large.”
Additionally, Mbappe is adored by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who expressed this to RMC Sport in 2018 before the team’s Champions League matchup with PSG: “I love him, to be honest.” He’s a genuinely good child, just look at him, what a nice youngster and footballer he is.
“Amazing player, incredible player. Everyone has known him since he made an impression on Monaco’s youth teams when he was 16 or 17. I’ve watched footage of him breaking down defensive lines at that age, and that’s exactly what he’s doing today.
“At that age, he exhibits an incredible level of consistency.
He is undoubtedly a fantastic player, but he also has a lot of delivery skills, which demonstrates that he is a well-educated young man with expertise in his field.”
