Jurgen Klopp praises the ‘super’ 21-year-old Liverpool player

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised debutant Ryan Gravenberch after he made his debut for the club in last night’s 3-1 win over LASK.

The 21-year-old played a central role in midfield and also provided a stunning assist to Luis Diaz to give Liverpool the lead for the first time in the match.

Even though it was the Dutchman’s first match as a starter in four months, you wouldn’t have guessed it as he put in a solid performance before limping off in the second half.

There was concern among Liverpool fans when they saw the 21-year-old midfielder being replaced, but Klopp insists it was just a cramp and not a serious problem.

Jurgen Klopp talks about “super” Ryan Gravenberch

Speaking to TNT Sports after the win, the Liverpool manager recognized the 21-year-old immediately after his performance.

“Ryan [Gravenberch] played a fantastic match and was really decisive for us.
“(He played) very well, I think it was his first start in a while and he did very well.

“He was the best player on the pitch for a long time and in the first half the frustration grew a little and you saw him get lost a little.

“But it’s normal, these things happen, but he stayed in the game as long as possible and had excellent moments.
He set up a nice goal for Luis Diaz and since he didn’t know much about his teammates, it looked pretty good.
Well .”

Gravenberch will make his first Premier League start on Sunday when the Reds host West Ham United at Anfield.

Kaide Gordon

Young Liverpool player Kaide Gordon might need to sit out for a while longer after rolling his ankle.

The 18-year-old is anticipated to be sidelined for the following two weeks, according to chief football writer for the Liverpool Echo Ian Doyle.

Fans and the player alike can exhale with relief knowing that the problem is not nearly as serious as the pelvic issue that kept him in the hospital for nearly two years.

one of the most captivating young people in the country.

The expectations were high coming to Anfield because, at least in the Rams’ eyes, he left Derby County with a reputation as the top 16-year-old talent in England.

However, Gordon still has a bright future in the red part of Merseyside at the age of 18.
This should be clear to everyone.

It’s unfortunate that he will not be able to resume his career until October because of yet another problem, but hopefully this is the last one for a while
