Get the most recent information about transfers involving Mohamed Salah, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Sepp van den Berg, Anthony Gordon, Luis Diaz, and many other players at Liverpool.

Sepp van den Berg and Bobby Clark were sold by Liverpool on Thursday for a total of £30 million. The latter has joined Brentford, while the former was able to clinch a move to Red Bull Salzburg, owned by Pep Ljinders.

Van den Berg rejoins the Premier League team alongside Fabio Carvalho. The Reds have collected £47.5 million from the west London club this summer after paying an initial £22.5 million for the attacking midfield player earlier this month. An additional £10 million might come from add-ons, with £5 million coming from each transaction.

Additionally, Liverpool added 17.5% sell-on clauses to the three deals. Regarding arrivals, rumours have it that the team is getting close to signing Giorgi Mamardashvili. The custodian from Georgia is expected to arrive; he will be their first summer addition. Mamardashvili is expected to stay at Valencia through the 2019–20 season as the Reds are nearing an agreement with the Spanish team that would value over €30 million (£25 million).

Since Liverpool was unable to entice Martin Zubimendi to Anfield, a number of names are being connected to the club throughout Europe. According to the most recent reports, they think highly of Marc Guehi as a player.

Joe Gomez, who was left on Merseyside as he considered his options before to the transfer market shutting last weekend, may be replaced by the England international. Earlier in the summer, Newcastle United and the Englishman came to an agreement on a £45 million deal, but that deal fell through as the Magpies managed their finances without letting Anthony Gordon leave.

Liverpool has emerged as the front-runner to capture Everton centre defender Jarrad Branthwaite as Gomez mulls over his future. The Reds are the favourites to sign the teenage defender this summer, according to bookmakers Sky Bet. Despite their interest in Branthwaite, Manchester United has not yet met the Blues’ £70 million asking price.

Reds are planning a spectacular signing

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

According to reports, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli, is being pursued by Liverpool.

According to Football Insider, they are preparing a last-minute deal for the Georgian international who shone at this summer’s European Championship in Germany. It’s been reported that the Reds seek to sign their long-term target, Kvaratskhelia, before the summer transfer window shuts.

It’s said that they’ve been considering signing another wide forward, but it would be challenging to come to an agreement with Napoli. With three years left on his deal, Kvaratskhelia’s Italian team reportedly wants at least £70 million.

Branthwaite ‘whispers’

Branthwaite

In the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Insider Track podcast, former Everton CEO Keith Wyness expressed his belief that the rumours surrounding Jarrad Branthwaite’s potential move to Liverpool are fan hoaxes rather than a real concern. This week, the centre defender’s signing odds have dropped dramatically across bookies, but Wyness is not taking it personally.

“As the final week of the transfer window approaches, Everton supporters will be keenly examining the arrivals and departures.

“There are a lot of rumours circulating that Branthwaite will be joining Liverpool this week, but I believe they are more fan-made rumours than anything else.

Liverpool  transfer completed

Liverpool completes the transfer.

Alvin Ayman, a teenage player from Wolves, has reportedly signed a contract with Liverpool.

The Reds were getting close to signing the former Bradford City starlet, according to an ECHO story in mid-June.

Ayman, 16, has been with the League Two team since he was in the under-9s and only joined with Wolves last summer. But it seems that Ayman is back on the move, and Merseyside seems to be his next stop. The young player mostly filled the roles of defensive midfielder and left-sided central defender while with Bradford.
