LFC transfer news: Nico Williams offer ‘ready’ and door open to Leny Yoro alternative

To sign the defender, the German team is reportedly seeking $55 million (£42 million/€50 million) plus add-ons. However, since Yoro is now United’s top priority, Liverpool—who has previously been linked to De Ligt—may have an opportunity.

According to Liverpool.com, there may be a chance to pursue De Ligt, but doing so seems a little dangerous. It appears that he has lost favour with the Netherlands and Bayern Munich, and his tenure at Juventus wasn’t exactly stellar either. The Spain international, who scored against England on Sunday in the Euro 2024 final, has been linked to a number of clubs, including Liverpool.

Chelsea, however, may be prepared to strike first even though they are aware that Barcelona will probably put up a fight for the Athletic Bilbao star.

Williams’ future has been the subject of much discussion for some time, and all the indications are that he will either transfer to Barcelona or remain in Bilbao.
