Bayern Munich’s move for Harry Kane just got a little tougher.
Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. The news will come as a blow to the Bavarian giants who now have no further cash injection of £25m to boost their bid for Harry Kane.
Sky Sports transfer expert Florian Patterson reports the Reds are out of the running for the Dutchman and are instead focusing their attention on signing Romeo Lavia. However, the Athletic say Liverpool aren’t looking for another midfielder until they sack one of their existing midfield players.
Liverpool recently completed the transfers of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai and have plenty of options for the job next season.
Alongside their new signings, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Stefan Bajcetic, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Trent Alexander-Arnold will also be battling for spots in the squad.

There are also concerns about the £50m asking price for Lavia. Liverpool aren’t ready to pay that much for the 19-year-old given he’s only had one season at the top flight.
Bayern hope to fire a number of players this summer as they continue their hunt for Kane and Gravenberch is believed to be one of them. However, the 21-year-old assumes he will stay at the club.
He told Algemeen Dagblad: “I assume I’ll still be with Bayern next season. That’s how I really feel. I’m with one of the top three clubs in the world. I think it’s cool and special. I don’t give up like that. My goal remains to succeed at FC Bayern.
Although Daniel Levy made it difficult for Kane to leave Spurs, the Tottenham boss has reportedly reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with his captain which allows him to move to a club outside of England.
That’s on the condition that Tottenham’s £100million valuation of the player is met, an outrageous price for a player with one year remaining on his contract. However, Bayern haven’t lost hope and continue to keep tabs on their debut goal.
