Liverpool decide first signing for next manager after Jurgen Klopp to avoid UEFA problems

Without knowing who would be the team’s coach for the upcoming season, Liverpool is planning their transfers.

Tosin Adarabioyo, a defender for Fulham, is apparently being watched by Liverpool in anticipation of a possible summer transfer. He may become the team’s first acquisition after Jurgen Klopp left.

The English centre back, whose contract at Craven Cottage is about to expire, has impressed under Marco Silva and might be available for free at the end of the season.

According to the London Evening Standard, Liverpool is interested in Adarabioyo and may compete with AC Milan to recruit him. In light of Joel Matip’s impending departure at the end of the current campaign and uncertainties surrounding Virgil van Dijk’s long-term future at Anfield, the Reds are eager to add a center-back this summer.

Adarabioyo is being pursued by Liverpool because they need domestic talent. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez, and Caoimhin Kelleher are the club’s only four senior homegrown players, despite expectations that they will make it to the Champions League the following season. Conor Bradley and Harvey Elliott are still considered Under-21 studs.

Their depreciating number of in-house players will be a major consideration in their summer transfer business. Next season, Adarabioyo might help resolve that problem and lessen the pressure from Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Jarrell Quansah.

But after talks fell down last summer, Fulham intends to offer the 26-year-old a new contract and has made it clear that they intend to provide the defender with new terms. He and Silva get along well, and at the end of the season, he will decide what to do with his future.

With Klopp’s unexpected departure, Van Dijk, the captain of Liverpool, appeared to indicate that his future was uncertain, suggesting the need for immediate defensive reinforcements. Although the Dutchman’s contract is expiring in 18 months, he has subsequently reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the team.

He stated, “It’s much taken out of context,” in a Men in Blazers interview. “To be completely clear, it is completely taken out of context; I love the club and the fans, and I’m fully committed to the club.”

“It’s a little silly because five days ago we weren’t even talking about my contract. It’s not about me, it’s not about I, it’s about us and nothing has changed.”

Notwithstanding Van Dijk’s intentions, Liverpool’s desire to strengthen their defence and add homegrown players in the same summer raises the possibility that Adarabioyo’s concerns might be resolved in a single move, with a free transfer serving as the icing on the cake.

Liverpool may try to pull off the same ploy as they did in the past when bringing in cheap players from Premier League opponents, such as Andy Robertson and Georginio Wijnaldum.

Liverpool has taken action in an attempt to trump Barcelona in the transfer of a Bundesliga player.

Liverpool and Barcelona are supposedly the two teams who could want to get Bayern Munich striker Leroy Sane, and they have taken some action on the potential transfer.

With 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Allianz Arena, Sane has been in outstanding form for Bayern this season, so it seems likely that they will want to hang onto the Germany international.

This summer could be tense for Bayern if a new contract isn’t reached quickly since they could have to consider the possibility of selling Sane now for less than market value rather than waiting another year and losing him on a free agent.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that the former Manchester City player is being associated with Liverpool and Barcelona, according to the Catalan newspaper Sport, which Sport Witness translated and cited.

Sane would be perfect to provide LFC additional attacking alternatives, especially as he would suit in well on the right-hand side to take the position of Mohamed Salah, who has been connected to Saudi Arabian teams by the Daily Mail and other publications.

Raphinha hasn’t done well in that capacity for Barcelona, so they may wish to make some changes as Sane is probably seen as an improvement over the Brazilian.
