Liverpool given approval for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia swoop after £110m offer and transfer hint

Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has been linked to leaving Napoli this summer, with Liverpool reportedly interested in hiring him for a big-money transfer.
Georgia’s disastrous exit from Euro 2024 will determine Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, a target for Liverpool, and his future at the club. On Sunday, they were defeated 4-1 by Spain in the Round of 16.
Kvaratskhelia, a forward for Napoli, stated last week that he would decide on his future following the European Championship in Germany. At that point, Georgia had just defeated Portugal 2-0 (a match in which he scored) and were making their first-ever appearance in the knockout stages of a major tournament.
He declared last Wednesday that “I respect [new Napoli manager Antonio] Conte, he’s one of the best managers.” “I love and respect Napoli as well. My next move will be decided after the Euros. I’m now concentrating on the match against Spain.”
Now that Georgia is out of the picture, Kvaratskhelia is set to decide whether to stay at Napoli or move on, which gives Liverpool permission to pursue the gifted winger this summer. Paris Saint-Germain reportedly made an attempt to acquire the 23-year-old but was unsuccessful in their attempt, despite offering an incredible £110 million. However, he was rumoured to prefer trying his luck in the Premier League to a transfer to Parc des Princes.
Two more English competitors, in addition to Liverpool, are rumoured to be considering a deal for Kvaratskhelia. Although the players’ identities are currently unknown, the Reds will undoubtedly face competition for the wideman, who has been outstanding since joining Napoli in July 2022.
In 88 games, he has contributed 26 assists and 25 goals for the Serie A team, who are looking to extend his contract. Conte, on the other hand, insisted that Kvaratskhelia would not be leaving Napoli. The Italian stated at a press conference last week: “There are no questions. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will play for Napoli and will remain here. Nothing is unclear; everything is clear. Kvara is going to stay with us here.”
“In reference to the statements of Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, and his father Badri, Calcio Napoli reiterates that the player has a contract for another three years with the club,” the club issued a statement along with a warning to anyone interested in signing Kvaratskhelia this summer.
Napoli released a statement saying, “Kvaratskhelia is not on the market.” “The Calcio Napoli club, not agents or fathers, determines a player’s destiny when they have a contract with them! The narrative comes to an end.”
