Jarell Quansah, a defender for Liverpool, has been called a “fantastic” talent by Courtney Sweetman-Kirk.
The Sky Sports analyst was monitoring Thursday night’s Europa League match between Union SG and the Reds.
Liverpool was defeated 2-1 in Belgium, despite having already won Group E before the game.
A youthful Liverpool team was selected by Jurgen Klopp, who also handed them a challenging matchup against a formidable USG squad.
One of the Anfield team’s best players was Quansah. The hosts had taken the lead before the 20-year-old tied the score with his first goal for Liverpool.
Jarell Quansah ‘will progress forward’ for Liverpool
When Quansah finally broke through for Liverpool in the 39th minute of the game, it was from a Curtis Jones corner kick. Quansah had been rejected by VAR in the team’s defeat to Toulouse.
The Liverpool academy product performed admirably on defence as well, stopping multiple opposing attacks by winning a lot of headers and dominating one-on-ones.
Between 2018 and 2020, Sweetman-Kirk was a player for Liverpool, and she was impressed with Quansah that evening.
You may claim that some of them aren’t prepared. But occasionally, you have to see it in a competitive setting,” she stated on Sky Sports News.
However, Quansah has excelled. He is undoubtedly one of the players who will advance.
Quansah seems to be the next in line for Liverpool, who have a fantastic history of developing gifted youth talents into well-established first-team stars.
The defender has now made 12 appearances for the senior Reds, scoring one goal and providing an assist. I hope there be a lot more this season and in the future.
Declaring in September that the 20-year-old is a “fantastic” player who had a “super” pre-season, Klopp addressed the Liverpool media team.
He said he will continue to choose him, and history has shown that to be true.

Following the Liverpool transfer snubs, Jurgen Klopp fires Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia were signed by Chelsea during the summer transfer window, but Reds manager Jurgen Klopp isn’t sleeping well over losing out.
According to Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool was “lucky” not to sign Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.
Liverpool had targeted both Lavia and Caicedo in the summer transfer window, but the midfield pair—then of Southampton and Brighton, respectively—ended up in West London for a combined £173 million. Wataru Endo, a relatively unknown Stuttgart star, was signed by Klopp’s team for a meagre £15 million in order to strengthen their defensive midfield options. Having made an impression thus far, the 30-year-old Japanese international is more than satisfied with the outcome.
When questioned about developing “Liverpool 2.0” this season, Klopp laughed with the crowd about missing out on some goals during a Q&A session in front of Liverpool supporters on Monday while their extended Anfield Road End stand was tested. “The summer we had with a few strange things happen in the transfer market but here between us I can say, ‘My god, we were lucky’,” said the German.

“To be honest, we were unaware of that at the time and didn’t realise it. However, I am rather pleased with how things turned out. You never know how things can turn out.”
The captain Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and veteran James Milner were among the five central midfielders Klopp had to cope with during the summer. “I had an extremely good feeling before we started pre-season,” Klopp continued. “We already had Macca [Alexis Mac Allister] and Dom [Szoboszlai] already in and then we knew there was a chance for Ryan [Gravenberch].”
“Then, it became evident to us that other central defensive midfield players were unwilling to join Liverpool. Well, you get the picture. Next, we discovered Endo. Unquestionably, he is an outstanding player
