Liverpool is expected to receive £7.6 million Martin Zubimendi transfer boost as club-record deal is reached

In order to bring top transfer target Martin Zubimendi to Anfield in time for the upcoming Premier League season, Liverpool is moving quickly.
Tottenham Hotspur is expected to give Liverpool a £7.6 million boost in their attempt to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. After watching his new team during the summer preseason tour of the United States, Arne Slot determined that the Reds needed to bolster the No. 6 position during the summer transfer window.
Zubimendi has emerged as the clear favourite, and Liverpool is currently working hard to close the deal. The 25-year-old’s contract includes a £51.7 million release clause, which the Reds would have to pay in full to finalise the transaction.
Because the provision is for a substantial amount of money, Liverpool would rather pay it over time rather than match it immediately. But, Spurs’ pursuit of Dominic Solanke, a striker for AFC Bournemouth, might ease some financial pressure.
The Reds received £19 million up front for Solanke when they transferred him to the Cherries in 2019, and they also included a 20% sell-on clause in the contract. According to this specific clause, Liverpool will get 20% of whatever profit Bournemouth makes on the Englishman.
According to sources on Friday, Ange Postecoglou’s team is reportedly well into talks to sign Solanke with the South Coast club. The striker’s contract is said to contain a £65 million release clause from the Cherries, but Spurs have negotiated a cost of £57 million for him, setting a club record for the London team.
Consequently, if Solanke is transferred to Tottenham for £57 million, they will profit by £38 million from the transaction. After that, they would owe the Reds £7.6 million to fulfil the sell-on clause.
When Arsenal was chasing Zubimendi earlier in the summer, they were not given the opportunity to receive such a bonus. In their ongoing hunt for a central midfielder, Mikel Arteta’s club has focused on Mikel Merino, Zubimendi’s partner.

Liverpool is ‘very determined’ to sign a £25 million breakout player, according to transfer news
According to reports, Liverpool is “extremely determined” to sign a winger for £25 million. The Reds are now inextricably intertwined.
According to Fotomac in Turkey, Liverpool appears “extremely determined” to recruit Galatasaray’s Baris Yilmaz.
Not that striking a bargain is simple. Yilmaz has given his club complete discretion on the matter, and they are hesitant to lose one of their best players. The winger would reportedly fetch around £30 million in order to sell, but Liverpool is only willing to offer £25 million.
That can also come in the form of an offer. According to the source, Liverpool is trying to finalise a deal for Yilmaz and will soon make a proposal of that amount.
Furthermore, this is by no means the first report about Liverpool’s interest. The president of Ankara claims to be aware of the fact that his team will receive a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of Yilmaz to Galatasaray.
Recently, Yilmaz visited England as well, fuelling transfer rumours. Furthermore, if Liverpool is sincere about wanting the player, they probably have an easy route to acquire him, as German writer Christian Falk stated this past week.
Liverpool interest in Baris Yilmaz
In terms of wingers, Liverpool is in an intriguing position. There are plenty, but not all of them seem trustworthy. Of course, Mohamed Salah is, but Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz have also had inconsistent seasons.
Linkages with people like Anthony Gordon have resulted from it. But Yilmaz would be a little different because he plays from the right, and Liverpool does not have enough coverage for Salah.
Therefore, the club can perhaps just about justify Yilmaz’s signing—especially at a £25 million price. He had a bit of a breakthrough season with Galatasaray and made an impression with Turkey in the Euros. Put another way, he’s a player who could eventually establish himself in Liverpool’s lineup.
The simplest option to increase the assault this summer is to find Salah’s cover and possibly a long-term successor. Yilmaz might have the solution.
