During the summer transfer window, Manchester United is reportedly interested in a player from Liverpool.

Liverpool has started the transfer window quite slowly, but after the European Championships in Germany are over, they should expect to conduct more business.

Arne Slot, the team’s recently hired manager, is eager to bring in a new centre defender after Joel Matip’s contract expired.

It has just come to light that United has shortlisted one of their defensive targets.

Over the past several months, Liverpool has been linked to a deal for Feyenoord defender David Hancko; however, it has now emerged that they are not the only team interested in the player.

The Mirror claims that Manchester United is also considering a deal for Hancko, who GiveMeSport describes as “world class.”

Although no formal proposal has been made as of yet, the 26-year-old, who did in fact work for Slot, is anticipated to cost suitors over £40 million this summer.

Liverpool is rumoured to be mulling a move for Dean Huijsen, a teenage player for Juventus.

Liverpool is examining Gleison Bremmer as well. Many central defenders are on Liverpool’s short list, and Slot is also interested in Gleison Bremmer.

The Brazilian is not for sale, so even though the Merseysiders are desperate to sign him, they might have trouble closing the deal.

In other developments, a player has now acknowledged turning down a Liverpool contract offer this summer.

Liverpool is prepared to let go of the 25-year-old, who has acknowledged that he is open to leaving Anfield

Liverpool is prepared to let go of the 25-year-old, who has acknowledged that he is open to leaving Anfield.

Caoimhin Kelleher wants to start the season for Liverpool, so the club will take any offers that come in this summer into consideration.

Football Insider claims that the Merseyside team is willing to sell some of its bench players in order to make room and money for future recruits.

With just two years left on his present contract at Anfield and the admission that he is ready to resume goalkeeping following an outstanding 2023–24 season, Kelleher is one option available to the Reds.

“I think my time as a number two is over. Currently, the goal is to rank first. The Reds shot-stopper recently told the Irish Mirror, “I am ready and capable.”

The Irishman’s most successful season wearing a Liverpool shirt came last year, when he made 26 appearances across all competitions, including 14 straight games, when regular number-one Alisson was injured.

The only obstacle to a possible transfer is Arne Slot’s lack of options at Anfield, where the Premier League’s top team lacks a custodian due to Adrian’s departure.

For Caoimhin Kelleher to advance in his career, he must leave Liverpool.

Kelleher has spent his whole career with Liverpool, and the only reason he has lasted this long is because of Jurgen Klopp’s admiration for the player.

This is another incentive for Kelleher to leave the Reds, and new Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrímsson has lately recommended him to do so. The German coach is no longer with the team.

According to the Irish Mirror, Hallgrímsson responded, “Of course, especially when he showed everyone that he can play at the highest level,” when asked if the goalie needs to leave Liverpool this summer.

“It would be unfortunate if he stopped playing frequently after demonstrating to everyone his talent and calibre of play.”

As he considers leaving Anfield, this summer will be crucial for Kelleher’s future and might shape the remainder of his career.
