Liverpool news: Following Mohamed Salah’s text message, Jurgen Klopp delivered a new blow.

Following the heartbreaking loss to Arsenal last week, Jurgen Klopp wants to get Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge back on track. The Reds will play Burnley on Saturday.
Liverpool is trying to restart their Premier League title campaign while dealing with an escalating injury crisis.
Due to their loss to Arsenal on Sunday, the Reds suffered a blow that moved Manchester City and the Gunners closer to the top of the standings. When they play struggling Burnley on Saturday, they have a great opportunity to take back control.
However, Thiago Alcantara will not be available for manager Jurgen Klopp’s team due to yet another injury. This setback coincides with the nomination of two Reds players for January’s Player of the Month in the Premier League.
Additionally, actor Harvey Elliott disclosed the texts he received from Mohamed Salah when the Egyptian was sidelined. Mirror Football compiles all of the most recent Liverpool news here.
Thiago’s injury blow
After only recently making a full recovery from a hip issue, Thiago Alcantara has experienced yet another setback. The midfielder entered the game late in last week’s loss to Arsenal, making it his first of the year.
However, after experiencing a tingle throughout the game, he has now sustained another injury to his muscles. How long the Spanish international will be out of action is currently unknown.
Liverpool hopes that the 32-year-old’s problem is just a minor one as they continue to evaluate him. However, the midfield player, who has experienced problems with his knee, calf, and thighs since joining Anfield, now has yet another injury concern.
Reds duo nominated for award
The January Premier League Player of the Month nominees are Conor Bradley and Diogo Jota. The two Liverpool players have been added to a six-person shortlist in recognition of their performance over the past month.
They will face Richarlison (Tottenham), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), and Elijah Adebayo (Luton Town). Bradley scored and assisted in his Premier League debut in the victory over Bournemouth, then scored and provided two assists against Chelsea.
In the meantime, Jota helped the Reds win all three of their games in the Premier League in January by scoring three goals and providing two assists. Voting for their preferred winner ends on Monday for supporters.
Salah texts disclosed
Harvey Elliott has been messaging Mohamed Salah while he is out with an injury. Salah has been in contact with Elliott, one of his understudies, even though he is currently recovering from an injury.
In all honesty, Mo doesn’t really need to push the other kids as much as he does, but he always tries to push me too. ‘How did you find it?’ and similar messages were sent to me by him following the FA Cup match against Arsenal, even though he was with Egypt at the AFCON.
More news…….
Liverpool has taken action in an attempt to trump Barcelona in the transfer of a Bundesliga player.
Liverpool and Barcelona are supposedly the two teams who could want to get Bayern Munich striker Leroy Sane, and they have taken some action on the potential transfer.
With 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Allianz Arena, Sane has been in outstanding form for Bayern this season, so it seems likely that they will want to hang onto the Germany international.
This summer could be tense for Bayern if a new contract isn’t reached quickly since they could have to consider the possibility of selling Sane now for less than market value rather than waiting another year and losing him on a free agent.
Thus, it should come as no surprise that the former Manchester City player is being associated with Liverpool and Barcelona, according to the Catalan newspaper Sport, which Sport Witness translated and cited.
Sane would be perfect to provide LFC additional attacking alternatives, especially as he would suit in well on the right-hand side to take the position of Mohamed Salah, who has been connected to Saudi Arabian teams by the Daily Mail and other publications.
Raphinha hasn’t done well in that capacity for Barcelona, so they may wish to make some changes as Sane is probably seen as an improvement over the Brazilian.
The source claims that Liverpool has made some attempts towards signing 28-year-old Sane, however it’s unclear who is now winning the battle
