Liverpool poised to make major investment in world-class 23-year-old as Mohamed Salah’s potential replacement

Liverpool are reportedly keeping an eye on Rodrygo Goes’ situation at Real Madrid ahead of next summer, when he might be available for transfer.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Reds are prepared to make a significant investment in Rodrygo as manager Arne Slot seeks a major addition to his attack.
Liverpool ready to submit £50m offer for Arsenal target!
At just 23 years old, Rodrygo has already had an impressive career at the Bernabeu and is considered one of the club’s top attacking players, although his place in the starting lineup is less secure following the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick during the summer.
This shift in his role could present an opportunity for Liverpool to sign the Brazilian international, who is capable of playing both out wide and up front. Rodrygo could be an ideal candidate to potentially replace Mohamed Salah as his contract approaches its final months.
Salah, who will be a free agent in a few months, has openly stated that he has not received an offer from Liverpool and feels increasingly out of favor at Anfield.
While replacing Salah will undoubtedly be a challenging task, Liverpool might benefit from targeting a talent like Rodrygo, who has already won prestigious titles such as La Liga and the Champions League. At the same time, he remains young enough to continue developing.
Arne Slot has already proven to be highly effective with this Liverpool squad, making him an excellent coach to help Rodrygo reach new heights. The player himself may also be eager to move to a club where he can expect to start more frequently.
Salah’s recent remarks may suggest that he is unlikely to stay at Liverpool, which means it makes sense for the club to begin planning for a future without their Egyptian star.

Liverpool Makes Official Move to Acquire £33.7 Million Forward
Liverpool typically keep their transfer dealings under wraps, preferring to negotiate privately and only announce deals when they are close to completion. However, recent reports suggest a growing interest in Bundesliga striker Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian forward has been impressive for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, tallying 11 goals and 7 assists in just 13 matches, statistics that warrant a significant move. According to Sport Bild, Liverpool has officially inquired about signing the 25-year-old.
With Mohamed Salah, arguably the best player from Egypt in the club’s history, currently on the team, Liverpool seems eager to build on his legacy with Marmoush. His contract runs until 2027, but Frankfurt might be open to letting him go for approximately £33.7 million. It remains to be seen if Liverpool will meet that asking price.
At 32, Salah may not have many top-level years left, as his contract expires in 2025 and he has yet to sign an extension, which could allow him to leave for free at the end of the season.
Overall, Marmoush would be a fantastic addition for Liverpool. While he may not directly replace Salah, he could still significantly enhance the squad. We will have to wait and see how this develops.
