Reports in recent days have linked Paris-Saint Germain with a move for Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah as Kylian Mbappe’s future at the club is once again in a pit of uncertainty.
Whether this summer or in the years to come, Salah will eventually have to leave the club and the club should look into alternative options to prepare for that situation.
In this article, we take a look at three forwards Liverpool should target if the Egyptian king looks to leave the club.
RAPHINHA:
The first name on our list is Raphinha, a Barcelona and Brazil winger.

Having just joined Spanish champions Leeds United last summer, he may be starting to move again, with some suggesting he is struggling to find a place for Ousmane Dembele.
Raphinha fits the profile of a left-footed inside striker perfectly, attacking from the right as Salah has done for the past six years.
The 26-year-old scored ten goals and assisted 12 for Barcelona in all competitions last season.
It’s also important to note that he has Premier League experience, scoring 12 goals and providing 17 assists in two seasons for a struggling Leeds United side.
Liverpool were linked with a move for the Brazilian last summer but made no concrete move for the winger as they secured the signing of Darwin Nunez instead.
Barcelona would likely demand a transfer fee of around £60m for the winger after spending £50m on the striker last year.
DEMBELE OUSMANE:

The second player on this list is Raphinha’s Barcelona teammate Ousmane Demebele.
Dembele has been consistently linked with a departure from Barcelona throughout his time at the club, but it appears he is starting to settle in under Xavi’s coaching.
With eight goals and nine assists last season, it’s clear the French international has an eye for goals, which is hugely important as a winger under Jurgen Klopp.
The 26-year-old is also naturally two legged which means he can play as a forward on either wing, although the Reds are already good on the left wing with the likes of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo all in able to play that side.
Since his £120m transfer from Borussia Dortmund, he has scored 40 goals and 43 assists in 185 appearances for the club in all competitions. A move for the world champions would likely cost around £60million after Dembele recently signed a long-term deal for the La Liga champions.
BUKAYO SAKA:

Perhaps the wackiest option on this list, a transfer of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka would be perfect for the Reds.
It would certainly be more of a long-term option for two to three years depending on how both clubs perform.
At the moment, that move would be next to impossible, but if Arsenal’s success were short-lived, Liverpool should rise to the top of the list of English wonderkids.
Saka is a left-footed inside striker who fits in on the right side of Arsenal’s front three. The 21-year-old scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists for the Gunners in all competitions last season, with some of those goal contributions being against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
As well as performing well for Arsenal, Saka has become an integral part of Gareth Southgate’s England side, scoring eight goals in 26 appearances for the national team.
It’s impossible to predict how much Saka would be worth in a few years time and of course the move is highly unlikely to happen, but he would be a perfect fit at Anfield.
