Liverpool step in to sign £30million and £60million players – Report

If media reports are to be believed, Liverpool are in talks with not one but two midfielders to strengthen their squad.

The Reds have already bought three midfielders in the form of Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Endo, but have sacked five, so the department will need to be strengthened further this summer.

In such a scenario, Liverpool have signed Dutch international Ryan Gravenberch and Malian international Cheick Doucoure.

According to The Mail, the Merseysiders have had productive talks to attract Gravenberch, who is looking to play more after warming up on the bench with Bayern Munich last season.

The 21-year-old can play effectively in the number 6 and number 8 and has the qualities to finally replace compatriot Gini Wijnaldum at Anfield. As reported by the German media (Bild), the Bavarians would be willing to do business with the Anfield club if they were willing to offer 30 million pounds for the ex-Ajax boy.

After starting just three games in the Bundesliga last season, he has risen from third to fourth choice midfielder this season following the arrival of Konrad Laimer.

Liverpool signed Wataru Endo this week but made the decision to ignore USMNT star Tyler Adams, who has just been officially announced as Bournemouth’s new player.
